i am loosing the plot here, i think after the election in september and after the natonal assembly the president said okay now i can clear out my ministers

you are double-posting Susan's case as if it is amuzement or some fun. this is not fun. i tend to sympathise with victims of tyranny. i openly warned prior to this to quit. they are all online. i tell you that much.

none of the governments ministers won and election now that is an interesting point.
secondly they are there to serve after an invitation from the president so it is not for life. another interesting point
who says a sacked minister is a victim, how do we know that there is no fault it might be better for the president to be seen as the bad guy and save face for the sacked minister for the truth to come out (if there is any truth)
yes sacked ministers have families to feed, but show me a poor, struggling minister, i do not think so.
the minister that was sacked was in position for how many year XXX, are the gambians happy with the job that was done, i don't think so

If no one ever left their jobs or got the sack then how is anyone else going to get a promotion? The Minister leaving gives room for someone more competent to do the Job. Susan had been there since 1994. I am sure there are other canditates who are more suitable for the position.

Have you heard of this story, called narrating an un-ending story. It goes like this "There were millions of millions of locusts, coming from a hole in the ground. One crawls out, flies and go. another crawls out, flies and go. then, another...(infinity).
He who looses companionship with a tyrant, has nothing to loose, other than slavery, torture, harassment and being wounded. Isn't that a good thing then?
Like these free locusts that were in one whole, who ever leaves that administration becomes free.
