Jammeh is stealing these traditional medicine cures from the local traditional healers. It isn't his. Being a native of the area, i've known Jejew and his sons/daughters- Baa Jammeh, Kumba Jammeh, etc... to be fractured bones healers.
As far as the spiritual healing goes, lets give it time. the guy is farting. See, how emotional he was when being interviewed by skyline news?
Ps. read Freedom Newspaper, FJC (with her mates at the national assembly) and others are about sermon Jammeh to be medically examined. This one is a good development.

Dalton, Do your spies follow Jammeh day and night? What proof do you have that Jammeh stole the holy water? Because ones's family members have specialised into a particular field of knowledge this by no means limits another family member to go into another. You even profess to know when he is farting can you smell it too! Let's keep it real. As for the Freedom Newspaper it is just a rag full up of unsubstantiated BS even the "L" got sick of Pa's nonsense!

Sister Omega, Just to let you know, I am a big fan of yours who always enjoy and learn from your postings. To be honest with you, your this posting today really threw me off-guard. Many times I kept saying to myself "WOW" sister Omege of all people. The first thing that came to my mind was that, no way this is sister Omega may be it's someone pretending to be.But at the same time, knowing Momodou very well indeed, will not allow the least anything of such criminal behavior here. I may be wrong, but I am of the belief that you are eying for something in one of those cleaned houses (just my opinion). You said, quote "After all every house needs a good spring clean and Jammeh is just cleaning up his department. If no broom cleans then the air becomes stagnant. The air needs to keep circulating around a house to keep it fresh and energized". Very true sister I quite agree with you. But at the same time, I belief as someone rightly states, you are probably either looking for a debate or trying to see what other people's reactions will be. But if you really and truely mean what you quoted here in relation to Yaya's spring house cleansing actions, I stand to be corrected if I am wrong, but it seems as you are down with those unexplained illegal actions for all the rest of the other three preceeding season too. Whatever your reasons are, whether you have an eye on that position or expecting to be called for a similar position, that only you know, but I wouldn't be surprised for nothing in GOD's creation is constant. So please sister, do better as you used to to keep my confidence in you so that I can continue to enjoy and learn from your intellegent, educative, and informative postings. |

Hi Ksanneh
It is not illegal to sack a minster. I really think it's about time that in Gambia that people are judged on their merit first to be able to hold down such important posts. There is often too much plagarism going on at the top. Too often peoples ideas taken for someone else to capitalise on without any credit or acknowledgement. But if you aren't the originator of such ideas its only a matter of time before someone else smells a rat. That's why Spring cleaning is so good!
As for me going for the Minister's job I don't know, if I would qualify for such a position because I am not a Gambian Citizen.
Ksanneh I think it's good to have an open mind. I am pleased to know that you have enjoyed and learnt different things from my postings and thanx for posting in your comments.

Sister, Jammeh is no teddy bear! When he finally is got rid of the terrible truth will be there for all to hear. All those people that have disappeared in the night!!!
He gets rid of staff on a ridiculously regular basis. Are they all incompetent? Or is it that sometimes they dare to disagree with him? Any disagreement results in firings. It is to intimidate his other ministers to be lap dogs.
Sister as an intelligent women it surprises me you dont see this. People in Gambia have no freedom of speech and are terrorised by the President. The army and police are used on the streets to intimidate people.
When did you visit Gambia last? |

Gambiabev it's so easy to take things out of context. I said "Tyrants normally make it their preoccupation to torture and murder people on mass i.e Saddam Hussein was a Tyrant, Pol Pott was a Tyrant, Hilter was a Tyrant, Mussolini was a Tyrant to name 4 which come to mind. Compared to them Jammeh is a Teddy Bear."
On another note you mentioned about people going missing in the night. Can you elaborate on that point. Who exactly has gone missing in the night can you state their name location where they went missing from?
As for Ministers being dismissed I put it to you how many Ministers has Blair replaced in his term of office? The reason why I am asking you this question because I have lost count.
Also on the point of Freedom of Speech and Anti Terror laws many of the fundamental rights, which were once taken for granted in the UK have been eroded. And many minorities in the UK feel intimidated by the police and many Iraqi's and Afganistani's feel intimated by the British army. History will be the final judge of who is and who is not a Tyrant.
I went to Gambia last March and I was there during the attempted coup and I never felt once intimidated by the police or the army. As for freedom of speech if people don't exercise their God given rights then someone will always try to take it away from them.
Peace

Have you never been stopped by the police in Gambia? My Gambian friends find it very intimidating and usually hand over money to smooth their passage.
How do you suggest we encourage Gambians to speak up and out. They are frightened. |
