The questions one should ask are: Were these people tested HIV/AIDS positive? Are they now HIV/AIDS negative?

The Daily Observer writes “During the 10-day period of treatment , the vital signs and weights of the patients were closely monitored and their conditions improved. Eight of the patients showed a mark increased in weight, ranging from 3 kilograms to 15 kilograms.”

How can a person add 15 kilograms (33.07 lbs) within 10 days?

Yaya Jammeh, Dr. Tamsir Mbowe and most of the people in this scam claim to be Muslims and yet they are dishonest in front of the whole world. What has our Imam Ratib or the Islamic Council said about the use of the Holy Quran in this?

The Observer article does not claim that the patients are cured, just that they are responding to the treatment. They obviously are tested before the treatment as the say three of them had HIV 2, while the rest got HIV 1. They are awaiting for the results of new tests.
3 kilograms increase of weight could indicate that the nutrition makes him better, but 15 kg in ten days – something must be very wrong. Some medicament accumulates liquid in a body, which in turn can causes severe damage.

HIV-Possitive can go up in weight. The new medicine can give them weight. Putting on weight is not a sign of getting better when it concerns the HIV-Possitiv. Nowadays the fat in the body is concentraited in different parts. One can look healthy when one is still possitive with the amount of blood cells can be high. So still I am not yet convinced that these paitents are cured. There is no cure yet. No medical doctor will tell you of the cure, but getting the amount of cells at a low level. As you live in Sweden you can contact Hiv-Sverige or Noaks-Ark Rödakorset for more information. The reserch of the vaccine in Huddinge University hospital is still under development.
Otherwise you are welcomed to ring any infection clinick for more info.

Mr Jammeh must stop playing with the national time and resources. It is zero even if Mr Jammeh is able to cure AIDS, TB, Parkinsons etc. He is not paid or elected to play witch doctor or herbal magician. He is a big joke. As for the religious leaders and medical personnel in Gambia, they are a different breed.

The President's ' herbalist cure' go back to when he was a rookie soldier, he was fanatical then, (as I am sure some on bantaba will verify) but now he has overstepped the mark to the ridiculous!

His 'people' have fluid retention, an ill person retaining fluid as quickly as this has every possiblity of cardiac arrhythmias and kidney failure.

Guys, don't you think Jammeh is employing new tactics to reduce HIV infection in the Gambia by eliminating the infected? Off course history teaches us that war can be an economic strategy to reduce over population and comsumption of resources. We also know that the sick especially those infected by HIV/AIDs can be a real liability to society. So the question is, is Jammeh employing such strategies or would you say the man is too dumb to think that deep and negative?

I know these questions are tought to digest, but am left with no option but to begin to ask some crazy questions about this man's craziness. You don't have to be a doctor to know that gaining 35lbs a month spells some serious medical problem. May be someone can address these questions on behalf of Jammeh...
