really - i am very surprised that there are africans who don't appreciate the senegalese attempt. ok, senegal does not depend on tourism as much as gambia. But if gambia itself is not able to take any measures against eu's neo-colonial arrogance it should be grateful that at least the neighbour shows that african countries know some limits.

Hmmmmmmmm, remember the citizens of the EU have the money that Gambia wants and to a certain extent depends on, remember The Gambia is The Smiling coast,so dont knock the people of the EU, just smile, you are in Germany I see,the EU neo-colonial arrogance cant be all that bad,"touche" sister!!

Point of correction Kondorong I am not advocating the disbandonment of the AU rather a more cohesive Union which is obliged to work in the interests of all the zones of Africa. Toubab1020 if AU adopts the Senegalese stance then it is coming into line with protecting the sourveignity of all its members and conserving its resources for the benefit of the Union.

Peace

I am not saying you said so. Thats my believe given the inertia and waste of resources spent to keep the organisation going. Its just a talk shop and weekend retreats for presidents.

Some Presidents have become so familiar in Addis Ababa that whenever they miss the Ethiopian NJARA or KUFTO, they organise the meetings to dine.
