This list will continue to grow with the names of those that choose to serve this regime. Think people use your heads and have some morals and ethics. Don't sell your souls to the devil for a meagre salary. The government cannot function without you. Consider a national strike to push for policy change.

Justice must be served as impunity brings more repression and corruption!

Thank you Foroyaa and Momodou. No matter what who these people are, they have families, loved ones, children, grandparents, and neighbors who care about them somewhere and are missing them. Its a terrible injustice that they continue to be locked up without a fair trial, explanation of their charges, and access to their families. Its true these events happen everywhere around the world, everyday, its not just the Gambia, thats not to condone these behaviours --- the tolerance and indifference to injustice is what brings the world to a state of violence, war, and human suffering which must be overcome and worked on by all people to make things right again in this little boat, this planet.

The law an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.

I am saddened by the long list which is not even close to being complete. I am sure there are others who cannot be accounted for. We have reached a stage where we recognized we cannot control the brutality of this government. However, it is time for our citizens to control their own future. No one, I repeat NO one, can be forced to serve the government. What everyone needs to know is that you are doing yourself and your family a disservice for volunteering to serve under the Jammeh regime.

This is not a matter of patriotism. There is no question every Gambian wants to serve our country to the best of our ability. The hard fact is that you are not serving the country, but servicing the President and his team at will. Brothers and Sisters, your safety, dignity, and security cannot and must not be compromise by any means. By agreeing to serve the government temporarily, you are creating an emornous insecurity for your families and love ones. A meager salary for a few months is not worth the sacrifice. Our families needs us to be around at all times. There is nothing worth serving a government that does not respect the very people supporting it.

The conclusion is that our families rather have us poor with dignity, than get a job with a heavy price of imprisonment, humiliation, and death. Please, know that what happens to X is going to happen to Y in this government. When people start refusing to serve the government, it can either respect them or be crippled to its knees. The decision is ours to make...
