shame to all gambian men and women both at home and abroad who passively sit by and witness the destruction of our motherland by a foreign maniac.it disheartens me so gravely when my country men say that nothing can be done. i think something can be done. how about a final solution, ladies and gentlemen?

Can you be explicit with kumbusora. There is a song about it. I think Kumbusora is from Sutukung. part of the song goes:

. lalo kebba was a window to a great past. but i dont think you will dance to that tune, remember the Fulas own that song now after chasing your ancestors out of Guinee Bissau.

| You know the Fulas cannot dance. They just drag their feet. The story goes that when the devil asked all nations to learn how to dance, the Fulas came in late when the devil was very tired. So they saw the dragging of feet which became their dance. |

As i am a new poster in this forum,i am taking this opportunity to say ASSALAMU ALLAIKUM to all of you. Opinion building is not only important for democracy but vital. I realy appreciate Bantaba Cyberspace because of the medium it provides for intellectual Gambians to discuss issues that are of great importance not only to Gambia but for the world in general.
Concerning the "final solution", i guess that some of you got me wrong. The "final solution" is not meant to be a rebelion movement. I denounce anything that is related to violence so violence and acts of violence cannot be my "final solution". There are other ways of effecting political change apart from the gun or the ballot box. More on this later. But first we have to get ourselves aquainted.
Let me end this posting with a famous quote from the American Declaration of independence.

KONDO .my gran mother is from kabu and she like lalo keba. i am what you can call kekoleng. i am ever ready. my mothers mother is fula ,so i am from both side. i am about to abandon my adopted fula tribe because my uncles refuse to give the number of cows i demanded. please don't dance ,palm wine is also bad for you. |

I see that you are a Lalo Kebba's fan. For your information, his grandson from his daughter lives today in Sweden from Casa Di Mansa and is a fantistic kora player. he is one of my junior Jelis in Sweden. Hope you meet or listen to him one day. Otherwise look for cds by "TAMALAA BAND". Tamalaa is the name of his group. |

dancing is every ones culture. the germans are good dancers ,i use to have friend in kassel ,she can dance very well. african's need to stop entertainment and get serious. after we achieve certain things then may be dancing and frequent partying can be allowed. why entertain your self when you are struggling ? after a hard days job ,then relax. for now sere no dance .pls. |

| Santanfara, I fear we won't agree on that. I think that if you don't overdo it and run from party to party dancing - among many other aspects - can be excellent to recharge your psychological and physical batteries and thus keeps you fit in everyday struggle. All work and no joy makes Jack a dull boy. |
