TOUGH QUESTIONS

Question 1:
If you knew a woman who was pregnant, who had 8 kids already, three
who were deaf, two who were blind, one mentally retarded, and she had
syphilis, would you recommend that she have an abortion?
Read the next question before looking at the response for this one.

Question 2:
It is time to elect a new world leader, and only your vote counts.
Here are the facts about the three candidates.

Candidate A:

Associates with crooked politicians, and consults with astrologist. He's had two
mistresses. He also chain smokes and drinks 8 to 10 martinis a day.

Candidate B:

He was kicked out of office twice, sleeps until noon,
used opium in college and drinks a quart of whiskey every evening.

Candidate C:

He is a decorated war hero. He's a vegetarian, doesn't smoke, drinks
an occasional beer and never cheated on his wife.

Which of these candidates would be your choice? Decide first .. no peeking, scroll
down for the response.

Candidate A is Franklin D. Roosevelt.
Candidate B is Winston Churchill.
Candidate C is Adolph Hitler.

And, by the way, on your answer to the abortion question:
If you said YES, you just killed Beethoven. That woman was Beethoven's mother.
Pretty interesting isn't it? Makes a person think before judging someone.

Wait till you see the end of this note! Keep reading... Never be afraid to try something new.

Remember: Amateurs...built the ark.
Professionals...built the Titanic

And finally, can you imagine working for a company that has a little
more than 500 employees, and has the following
statistics:
* 29 have been accused of spousal abuse
* 7 have been arrested for fraud
* 19 have been accused of writing bad checks
* 117 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses
* 3 have done time for assault
* 71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit
* 14 have been arrested on drug-related charges
* 8 have been arrested for shoplifting
* 21 are currently defendants in lawsuits
* 84 have been arrested for drunk driving in the last year... Can you
guess which organization this is? Give up yet?

It's the 435 members of the United States Congress. The same group that cranks out hundreds of new laws each year designed to keep the rest of us in line.

I am not the author of the above material and donot take any responsibility for there input.Peace Sister Omega

(1) I would never seek to pass a view on whether someone should or shouldn't have an abortion; it's their business, and

(2) Never trust anyone with no vices.

Mind you, on a small technicality, I don't think the Fuhrer actually married Eva Braun until shortly before he shot himself (at which point he probably wasn't in the mood for extra-marital shenanigans) so it's not that big an achievement really.

Er, hang on. Only 7 members of the US senate have been done for fraud?

Dear Sister Omega,

This was a good and educative posting. That is why it is said "judge not and thou shall not be judged"

On the 7 members of congress caught for fraud, the operational word is "caught" I guess, not involved in fraud.

This is indeed major food for thought.

Thanks

Amna

MY DEAR INTELIGENT SISTER,
I Strongly believed that all women are inteligent thats why I love women expacxially my mum.
If I was to answer I was going to say I think having an abortion should be done when one can naturally not afford to have a baby. But only you inteligent women can teach us on such questions. We men can easily rush to conclusion.
Thanks for that lecture sis.

I DID NOT LIKE CANDIDATE C BECAUSE HE LOOKED TOO SERIOUS AND BORING. i WAS HOWEVER BENT ON CANDIDATE B

Sister,I really don't agree with Kondorong for I know him well If the names of the candidates were not given, most men would have gone for candidate C for he looks better than the others. But because he was Hitler,we would have all got it wrong but I still think he has better credits than his contemporaries if they go looking for a job,He is likely to get it faster than them.(opinion with Laughs).

sOMEONE WHO IS TOO SERIOIUS IS ABORING PERSON AND LIKELY TO EXPLODE ANYTIME. THEY ARE USUALLY DANGEROUS FOR THE WORK PLACE. SENSITIVITY TRAINING WILL BE RECOMMENDED FOR SUCH PEOPLE AS THEY WILL BE VERY UNSOCIABLE AND INIMICAL TO TEAM WORK.

Yes I agree Janyangfara most people would go for Candidate C. But what about Beethoven it was a miracle that with all the odds against him at his conception he was able to survive let alone beome a genius.

Taalibeh I am sure Amna will return to us as soon as he can. It is not unusual for him to take a long break every now and again. Wherever you are Amna I hope you are ok and not overworking yourself too much.

I made a living in HR have been involved looking for the "gold dust", the "fit-in" etc. for employers. Too serious people are worrysome and tend to have extreme ideologies.

It is like buying a used car. If the owner tells you that he never had a problem with the car, it means he is selling you one that will have problems soon. i like to buy a car that had some problems and the owener can show me maintenace records. That way i know that someone has been taking care of it. It is good information for those buying used cars.

Kondorong,
Though I have limited time as I am parking,I must say something to you b4 I go.
from what you belief,do mean to agree, if people follow your example, than they should instead keep Yaya as he is the one they know (has problems and could be mended)and for him to burst, would never surprise us for we know he has faults?(I mean in the political sense), the others who are selling themselves to us saying they are ok should not be trusted for not knowing whether they have faults, buying them would be wrong as when they would have faults, we don't know?(laughs)
Though I agree with some of your statement but I will rather go in for the field I know its also HR but not the same with yours ie .. looking for "the gold dust"the fit-in" I look for the "should-be" the necessities"
May I ask you my friend do you belief the saying "the devil you know is better than the one you don't know"?
If as you said "Too serious people are worrysome and tend to have extreme ideologies."

Judging by that statement of yours my friend, then do you want to say we are all doomed?Because not being too serious or not serious at all is as well disasterious as those tend never to care too well.I belief we are in that predicament now for we have most of our civil servants not too serious thus corruptions became too deep rooted and its now spreading like bush fire and not even the too serious one can put it out on their own.I belief in too serious as they tend ever to mislead no lie in other just to save his/her ass.
Bye my friends hope to see you all soon.
Peace on all Bantaba viewers and commentators
Amen!

All work no play makes jack a dull boy and all play no wrok makes jack a dull boy. You see you need some one who has some sense of humour rathers than mr. Perfect. it does not exist and anyone who tries to be so will crack sooner or later. One needs to chill-out and have fun sometimes. Too serioius people tend to be fanatics and extremists and once in positions of influenc cannot accept divergent views. democracy thrives on having opposing views. There is no one best way of doing things.

The issue about a car should bot be seen in a political sense. A sales man told me so and should be seen in that context.

Sister Omega and all.. I enjoyed reading some of these humour posts... . the part about the leaders and the Congress was particularly surprising and pretty sad commentary on the State of the Union...then. I read the story about Tommy H.to my friend which was unbelievable and she said to check on urban snopes about it. I thought I would share what I found... which is that the Tommy Hilfiger story is suppose to be a rumour according to Urban Snopes.

Pls see below the link to read more about this story.
