Well, maybe one day we can post audio files here, then I'll sing 'Don't worry, be happy' or 'Felicità' for you

I just came across 'Bungle In The Jungle' - a very old song by 60ies group 'Jethro Tull' - this is a nice one!

The avatar is the 'bronze sculpture' of the late Brenda Fassie -'known as the 'Madonna of the Townships'- www.joburg.org.za/2006/mar/mar10_stimesproject.stm

A great favourite of mine, should you pass a compound in The Gambia & hear Brenda - better call out 'Sab' - try listening to - Brenda Fassie Greatest Hits (1964 - 2004) released last year, I have a feeling you would do the 'Lemon Time'dance!
Regards,

Hurry up, Serenata, Jethro Tull are going to perfom in London Dec 19 "Sossity, you´re a woman" was my favourite song.
My first rock concert ever attended took place at Hammersmith Odeon in London -78 with Nils Loefgren performing and Tom Petty as a warm-up. Petty then became quite famous and Loefgren went touring with Bruce Springsteen playing the guitar. Sweet memories.Old memories.
Now I´m more into West African music. Luckily many artists visit our country.

19th? OH NO!! I won't have the time to go there - this year we are celebrating Christmas with my family in Austria. I am looking forward to this meeting, but I also would have liked to see Jethro Tull. Or go to Gambia for Tobaski

who is jethro tull? what music does he play ? sere, calm down. we have enough musicians jumping up and down in banjul at the moment. the groups are coming close to 20. every day new groups .no more. we need silence and meditation. music is boring.
