TREASON TRIAL DEFERRED TO DECEMBER

The ongoing treason trial involving Tamsir Jassey, Alieu Jobe, Omar Keita (alias Omar Faal) and Demba Dem is adjourned to 13th December 2006.
The adjournment is precipitated by the death of Bintou Dibba, a staff at the high court.
The defence and the prosecutors agreed to attend the funeral service of the decease. The case is adjourned to 13th December due to the fact that the trial Judge, Justice Anin Yeboah will be travelling out of the Jurisdiction.
The accused persons are standing trial for their alleged involvement in the March 21st abortive coup.
