When shall i see ma home?
When shall i see ma native land?
I shall never forget ma home;
I leave my fader,
I leave my modder,
When shall i see ma home?

Scratch your brains.

To give another clue just before the last line, schools have added the following words

"I live them farther away" but it was not part of the original song. During independence celebrations, the song was popular mostly in primary school. But the song is older than our independence. Answer will be available tomorrow. The school version goes thus

Home again, home again(twice)
When shall i see my home?
When shall i see my native land
I shall never forget my home

I leave my father
I leave my mother
I leave them farther away

When shall i see my native land
I shall never forget my Home.

This song brings back memories when i was a Pupil Teacher.
