Nyarikangbanna, I don't have to say anything new. All we need is an explanation of what Waa alleges against Darboe and some of the evidence we have seen on his leadership.

The reality is that unless this is the begining of the end of Darboe as a leader of the UDP, sooner or later you have to address the faith of the majority opposition political party in the Gambia. If you don't have the guts to self critique and see where the opposition went wrong, then you might as well call it quit.

Would you agree with me that all political parties in the Gambia needs a new direction and dimension including NADD? This is a reality that we have to face if we want to stop the APRC from establishing a ONE PARTY STATE in the Gambia. A weak opposition as as terrible as a one party state.

We have to refresh our minds on the issues in other for us to move forward for a better political future. Pushing the real problems aside pretending to forget about them will not cut it.

You made so much noise on this forum pre elections, you cannot run away from the issues. We must call our leaders to accountability and force them to digest the lessons and take responsibility for their failures. We can agree to look at both leaders including Halifa and the rest of the group.

They must be forced to analyse the results and admit publicly what went wrong. We must not spare anyone of them from taking responsibility. We cannot afford politicians who are only active during election campaigns and take long vacation. Are you taking vacation like other part time politicians? This is not acceptable. You made a name for yourself and you must respond to the challenges.
Do you really care to address the issues? Or are you done for the next five years? What say you Nyarikangbanna???

Baldeh,

I believe it would help us address the issues, face realities and ignore personalities and egoes! Lets digest the points, comments, observations and lessons learnt on power struggle rather than a united front! In my opinion its also fruitful to continue our debates and exchanges or clarify any point that is being addressed. Lets control our emotions a liitle bit and share our views!

Thats the way forward guys.

Ok Baldeh, whatever. I hope the Dankunku beast honour his words below anyway.

Juwara Hints At Political Retirement

Lamin Waa Juwara has hinted at political retirement, should the proposed opposition coalition fail to score resounding success against the ruling APRC in the 2006 Parliamentary and Presidential polls.

You are right kobo, let us iron out the issues and move forward.

Nyarikangbanna, so you have resort to scripts now avoiding the issues. You can run, but you cannot hide. You played a major role in disintegrating the opposition. Either you know or not your contributions helped sway your people away.

Again, you were a self appointed analyst for the UDP and you became a mouth piece for them. You must continue to stand firm on your ideas and let the debate continue. You are on record with strong opinions about the future of our country.

By virtue of your silence should we accept that you have proven us right when we pointed out that after the dust settles people like you will Succumb and fade away with the wind.

In fact did you proof us right when we said many people like you are only interested in the immediate benefits of replacing the current government? With all the hype pre-elections do you think the problems were going to go away that easy?

Gambia's problems remain the same or even worst under this regime. Are you going to be a part of the debate or do you choose to enjoy freedom in the UK while our people continue to suffer? Answer the questions, will you? If you decide to fade away then we can draw our conclusions and move on to the real issues. The cameras are on you.

Please note: This is nothing personal on you, but we need to revisit our points of disagreement so we can hopefully move towards a united future on what is better for our people and country. What say you????

At that very time, there was hope on the proposed (NADD) coalition in the making and Waa Juwara sounds right, positive to declare that affirmative statement; only to result to dis-integration and dis-unity towards Presidential elections. A united front under one banner would have surely made an impact and resounding success for the opposition under one coalition only.

It appears another tactitcal alliance is being promoted as reported from The Point Newspaper Headlines: Henry Gomez Advocates a United Opposition in NA Elections under http://www.thepoint.gm/headlines1339.htm

However latest developments appears to be encouraging towards parliamentary elections but these strategic decisions, good leadership, teamwork and mutual trusts were long overdue!
