COMMONWEALTH ISSUES OBSERVERS' REPORT ON GAMBIAN PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION
The Commonwealth Secretariat has now issued the report of the Commonwealth Observer Group which was present for the Presidential Election in The Gambia held on 22 September 2006.
Prior to the report being made public, Commonwealth Secretary-General Don McKinnon sent the Group's report to the President of The Gambia, the Chairman of the Gambia Independent Electoral Commission, the main political parties in The Gambia, and Commonwealth governments.
