the only way you can learn about Gambia is by going to live there so as to get a correct impresson. You depend on people like Lemon Time with their misinformation about Gambia. This is what I dislike. There are people on this forum who are seeking assylum in Europe and the US who tell a lot of lies about Gambia. As Lemon says JUNAK is a problem and that is a big lie. I would suggest to you to visit there nex time you are in the Gambia. |

Mbay,
This is one of the problems in this case. Those who can bribe are the people who have access to herion or cocane. There is more money involved and earned than the weed of JUNAK. All the drug adits at campama are returning from Europe or have been fooled by the sellers to try. I think Lemon Time should film his people dealing with herion and show it here. Those who live in Germany must be awear of the Gambian problem in their country. Their problem is they are known to be herion and cocane sellers. Too many young Gambians are in jails arround Eurpoe. I doubt if there is anybody among them from JUNAK. |

Why is any kind of Drugs including weeds is is forbidding in an justice book?
Let’s be honest. Drugs is in general been warned from our parent, frankly an gently person will advises you to getting off of it and so I wish to our Children’s actually real don’t know what’s is going on in the case of that island but one thing i know for sure in the areas of URD is not doing good there. And of saying that those who are growing it on island is only for their own use I simple don’t believed it! |

Alhassan, please don't underestimate cannabis. The Indians, probably the most experienced with cannabis, relate it to Lord Shiva, the deity of creation - and destruction. I think this says enough. I repeat: Cannabis can be extremely harmful for psychologically and/or socially unstable persons. And who would deny that many of the youths in the poorer quarters of Kombo are socially unstable?
Fortunately most Gambians I know don't drink alcohol, but I saw that some Gambians in Germany/Europe like smoking marihuana. No problem if it is done only once in a while, but some of them use it frequently and regularly. Migration can cause multiple stress, and if one tries to reduce this stress with cannabis he chooses the wrong medication. |
