The latest windows Vista Beta (build 5600) is pretty solid. There is a decent chance that the corporate copies will be out before the new year. However those pesky European regulators are as busy if not busier than the folks coding at microsoft, erecting barriers to Vista, demanding that not too many things get bundled up with the operating system. I have my own misgivings when it comes to bundling.Certain things should be part of the OS. For starters it should be secured when shipped, but if Microsoft decide to make a cottage industry out of that too and directly challenge third parties, then alarm bells should be sounded.
