DARBOE'S NOMINATION SPEECH

Lawyer Ousainou Darboe, the nominated Presidential candidate for the UDP, has accused the GRTS of misinformation, stressing that the national media house, has been turned into a political outfit for the ruling APRC governing.

Addressing the press after his nomination, Mr. Darboe said Gambians should not be emotional; that they should not be carried away by material inducement and should not succumb to intimidation in order to make a decision. "I am asking every Gambian to conduct himself peacefully, because the greatest assest we have in this country is our peace and tranquility," he said. Mr. Darboe pointed out that their chance of winning the elections are extremely great. "Our principal opponents have enormous wealth at their disposal and they are asking the state media to misinform the public. He cited a GRTS reporter, Kebba Dibba, for saying that Hamat Bah was to present nomination papers, inorder to cause confusion. The UDP flag bearer noted that journalism should be done in a professional way. He pointed out that his government will make sure that there are professional journaliss in GRTS, who are competent and professional and will stay regardless of political affiliation. He accused GRTS of being a political institute because all their employees are seen in APRC "ashobies." Mr. Darboe noted that his government has a plan for the youths called, (YES), "Youth Entrepreneur Scheme," by which they will make sure that the enormous resources that commercial banks have, are channel into the productive sectors of the economy, to which youths will be employed. "Our youths will apply European Visas to only go for holidays," he said. Mr. Darboe stressed that the present government has been deceiving and cajoling the youths by saying that power belongs to the youths, when power belongs to one person and that power is in "Kanilai," he concluded.

For Darboe to state that power does not belong to on epersom is hypocritical. He believes that he is the only one to rule The Gambia.
Darboe didn't even agree to a five year term limit transitional period.

This guy is a joke.

Take a chill pill solution or some blood pressure medication. You need to relax bra. All your huffing, puffing and chest thumbing on this Bantaba ain't gonna change the dynamic on the ground in the Gambia. The person you called a joke has tens of thousands of supporters who believe he has what it takes to make the Gambia a better place. So what does that make you? Maybe, just maybe if you open up your hate filled mind, you will see what they saw.

Wait a second, Solution, as I understand from the Observer newspaper sources, the current President has threatened that he will be in operation for the next thirty years and vultures will come to get those who try otherwise.. Wouldn't that be someone who thinks that they have sole power over a country????

Yes, did you not see sankofa with the bullet proof vest. I was that tall guy carrying the magic water. You see IEC infact forgot that we do not have the five year residency as our home is in Rabat and Conakry. But i tell you the magic water we took there was the most powerful.

Did you see the article on Gambia Echo about the wedding party of Zainab and the ten million United states dollars for a business complex in morocco. I could not finish reading the article. It was too much to believe.
