It is still not official campaign time yet. Both of you are on the same page just having a different approach and how you see things. The fact of the matter is that once someone claims distrust in a process, then it becomes necessary to have a public debate. This is what NADD recognized. These are the themes for the campaign when they face the public.

UDP/NRP is still trying hard to justify deceiving the electorates by luring them to join NADD and later want them to leave. What an irony.

Kon is right though, they should have devoted this time attacking Jammeh instead of fighting among themselves. The fight is going to be Jammeh's campaign themes.

Bambalaye is right too, by stating that these people are already in the campaign swing. The exchange of letters is meant to attract funding from the Diaspora. They are also laying the ground work for the campaign. This is the fact. Forget about one candidate guys. It ain't happening because of the history of how we got here period. Let those who wants to retire do so and we will continue the fight.

In fact we should have an open debate between Halifa and Darboe as Halifa already invited them to do. They will not win by debating among themselves, but a decade later we can look back and history will evaluate who messed up. Am all in for crushing each other now in the political arena.

Baldeh,

Am totally dissapointed. Its not about formailities and legality or legitimasation but rather the best option and srategy as a national duty. What a shame for the contradictions coming from the camp of Darboe and co (UDP/NRP)

Its an OWN GOAL against them and one nil in favour of Jammeh and victory for APRC. Congratulations and hope for more improvement in its governance and stewardship.

Kons "Its a shame that the opposition is washing its dirty linen in public. Aprc must be feasting these days. I have said it here that NADD is an alliance of convenience. Adversity breeds strange bedfellows. Knowing what i know of Gambian politics, i cannot see a united opposition.

I think FJC is VERY RIGHT when she said the hatred the opposition have for one another is far greater than what they each have for the APRC. That is the bitter truth. I believe she is right in this case."

you are right about that the general voters are watching the opposition, it does not have to be in any media for people to talk, just there actions will speak for them,

"NADD had to be registered in order for us to contest under its ticket."

LAWYER OUSAINOU DARBOE AND HOUNARABLE HAMAT BAH, can you help us with this point and where your integrity lies on this issue?

Before conclusion its really sad to read these touchy remarks. However not only Halifa felt betrayed for not having a similar reciprocal gesture from another gentleman in the service of the nation but in my opinion average Gambians rallying for better political conditions and change of Government are absolutely dissapointed as follows:

"I hope we have reached a common understanding of what actually happened. If you disagree with my view I will be honoured if we meet at Father Farrell Hall to put our different positions to an audience in the interest of transparency and accountability, as we prepare the ground to challenge the APRC regime. We should clear the ground once and for all and restore the climate of respect that has always characterized our relationship. "

Yours in the service of the Nation.
Halifa Sallah

What a disservice to the nation and betrayal in the eyes of the public? I tend to conclude and accused the UDP/NRP leadership and its supporters for any failure in a common strategy to implement resolutions of the Save The Gambia Democracy Project (STGDP) and its baby called NADD. I charged you guilty of the most henious political and diplomatic crimes ever committed with irreparable damages and consider you doom from emancipation of Gambians from APRC regime.

Think about it Lawyer Darboe and your team as you are liable to no appeal for failing us

Kobo,

Sabari!!!

Just go ahead with the campaign for the election of NADD come september 22.

Don't be discouraged.

Who ever thought that Hamas would win the Palestiniam elections in January 2006? Not even Hamas itself.

Put your faith on the program and trust the best judgement of the people.

Your voice of courage is needed at this dying hour, even if you believe otherwise.

Courage brother!!!
The struggle never ends with one battle.
