You rememeber the manding song which the fulani said: CHEDO KANA MARJO BANG. CHEDO JANG KEWLU KANNA MAJO BANG. It means warriors dont finish oru millet. Male Warriors of this place dont finish our millet. Actually the queen of kaabu wanted to cook lunch which had never happened because the household servants did that. She decided that to cook was history and therefore she was not going to cook with firewood. Instead she instructed household guards to use millet from the fields of the fulani.

The blow we dealt the Kaabunkas made them distrust the fula. Thus the saying FULA KILING MU FULA FULALETI.One fula equals to two. Jankey Wally's idols failed to forewarn him of the fula invasion like a radar fails to see stealth bombers. the fula's descended in the fortress like bees and the rest is history.

I am trying to remember but my memeory is clogged. I think i need magic water. Contrary many beliefs women have been very powerful in Africa. In manding, only those who could trace lineage through their mothers were appointed kings.

In fact the war between Futa and Kaabu was caused by a queen in waiting. She was a daughter in law of Jankey Wally. She asked her husband to raid a Sarahule settlement known to have gold, cloth and riches. They sent scouts to gateher information. The sarahule were muslims and they slaughter all but one because their town cannot be visisted by non believers. Upon return the surving scout narrated his story. From then, began the preparation for attack which led to the collapse of both kingdoms.

Kaabu people were mainly animists.

Madiba

I know you will believe it but since the war, the Fulani settled everywhere in west Africa except in Kaabu. They get nightmares when ever they visit kabu. They would always say JANKAY WALLY ACHA NAM
