"President Macky Sall and his government had no intention of extraditing Kukoi Samba Sanyang to the Gambia.
Kukoi was never granted a change of immigration status under former President Abdoulaye Wade. He resided in the Senegalese capital Dakar at the expense of the government with free apartment and monthly stipend without having a change in immigration status. He forfeited all privileges under Abdoulaye Wade well before Sall was elected President. Sall’s government continued to allow Kukoi to live in Senegal as a Gambian and neither as an asylee or a refugee.
However, all these category of immigrants are expected to observe the conditions governing their stay in Senegal, including but not limited to, refraining from political activity that calls for the violent overthrow of a foreign government. He violated those rules and he was asked to leave territorial Senegal within a three-day window. This occurred last Wednesday/Thursday. He elected to go to Mali from where he promised to continue his political activities.
However, Kukoi was still in Dakar after the expiry of the deadline. Apparently he either could not afford the one-way fare to Bamako or he was flagrantly ignoring the deadline so the Senegalese government picked him from the safe house he was kept and transported to the airport under escort. This is the end of another chapter of a sad history of this character named Kukoi Samba Sanyang."

"The Macky Sall government has deported one of its citizens to neighboring Mali, without following the due process of the law, said Mr. Seydi Gassama, the Amnesty International local representative in Dakar, Senegal. Mr. Gassama, who appeared on Pap Ali Nyan’s show on DS2TV television, shocked the Senegalese population, when he declared that the deported Gambian fugitive Koukoie Samba Sanyang, was in fact a naturalized Senegalese citizen. Gassama said Mr. Sanyang was granted Senegalese citizenship by the then Wade government through naturalization. Gassama handed Koukoie’s Senegalese naturalization papers, Citizenship certificate, including Koukoie’s Senegalese ID to the DS2TV anchorman Mr. Nyan. He accuses the Macky Sall government of illegally deporting one of its citizens to Mali.
According to the naturalization paperwork featuring Koukoie’s passport size picture displayed on DS2TV, Mr. Sanyang was granted with a Senegalese citizenship with the name “ Doudou Mo…ed Sagna.”"

SANA SABALLY STATED THAT;
“Kukoi Samba Sanyang to former Col. Ndure Cham are being given safe sanctuary by President Wade and his Government is an open secret. In fact, Kukoi Samba Sanyang is traveling with a Senegalese Passport a Photograph of which is in our possession together with a letter he wrote to President Wade!“
My question: Is it wrong for Kukoi Samba Sanyang to have a Senegalese Passport and be travelling by it? If you say, Yes, it is wrong, I’ll accept, because he is not a Senegalese citizen. Please, help me with the records because I was in jail at the material time. Some times back, Kukoi was brought in the Gambia to meet with Jammeh. How did Kukoi made this trip? By land, air or sea? And by what Travel Documents? Let us assume he travelled by a Senegalese Passport. Then, why didn´t the Jammeh government made a noise over it then? But why today, after so many years!
What Nationality is Kukoi Samba Sanyang? Of course, Gambian (Wassadu village-Foni)! If Kukoi had applied for a Gambian Passport and was denied his Citizenship/Birth right as a human being, and he got that humanity from another place, why would his deniers be angry about that? If Kukoi truly has a Senegalese Passport, he must not hide it. He should be open about it. How many Senegalese citizens (more from the Cassamance side) did Jammeh himself give Gambian Diplomatic and Ordinary passports, Birth Certificates, ID Cards and even International Driving Licenses? Uncountable! How many Senegalese citizens (more from the Cassamance side) is Jammeh himself housing in Gambia Government Houses or Hotels (bills paid by the Gambian State)? Uncountable! How many Senegalese citizens (more from the Cassamance side) are serving with the Gambia Armed Forces, the Police and the Prisons? Uncountable! How many Senegalese citizens (more from the Cassamance side) have been militarily trained and are still being trained by the Jammeh Government? Uncountable! After they passed-out from training, they are posted at Kanilai where they will disappear in thin air as they are released across the border into Cassamance to rejoin their ranks in the MFDC. How many Senegalese citizens (more from the Cassamance side) are NIA operatives? Uncountable!
The stolen “ROOTS HOME-COMING FESTIVAL“ from JUFFUREH to now take place in Kanilai (Kanilai International Roots Festival) is nothing but a venue for Jammeh´s annual administrative meeting with the MFDC separatists. Jammeh developed Kanilai not only as his home-village but to be able to be in charge from this border village, where he conducts all clandestine activities with the MFDC, ranging from Arms Smuggling, Money Laundering, Racketeering to Drugs Trafficking.
And (3) “As far back as 2003, one Member of this group i.e. Jakayi group who was very notorious in Cassamance for his outrageous brutality against civilians, by the name Borry Kambeela; ….was arrested in The Gambia and handed over to Abdoulaye Wade’s Government….He was released without trial by President Abdoulaye Wade and sent back to Cassamance, a free man!….“ I would here state that when Jammeh betrayed Borry Diedhou (Kambila), and Borry was arrested and brought to Mile II, Banjul, The Gambia, I shared the same cell block (Maximum Security Wing, No. 1) with Borry Diedhou (from Kambila, located between Niaoump and Bougari in Cassamance). I was in Single-man cell No. 4 and Borry in No. 11. From the horse´s mouth, Borry said he was stationed in Kanilai under the guidance of Jammeh himself. This statement of Borry was confirmed by many Gambian Army and Prison Officers who knew him in Kanilai. There is more as to why Jammeh housed Borry Diedhou in Kanilai. Jammeh can now remember Appai Colley, Kalilou Kolly, Abdou Kolly and Kallao Jarju in Kanilai…. Because of the long standing traditional relationship (Sanaku / Sanaw-yaa or Dankutoo / Kal) between Jolas and Fulas, and especially between the Sabally and Diedhou, Borry and I became like twins in adversity. We shared everything, everything for that matter.
We all can recall the arms attack on Farafenni Camp….These attackers were in two teams. One attacked the camp, and another arrested en-route to the Gambia in TambaCounda-Senegal. Jammeh wanted this team in TambaCounda extradited. As a result, Borry was betrayed and arrested and a prisoner swop took place. So, Borry was sent to Dakar and the team from TambaCounda plus some attackers who fled to Kaolack and Dakar respectively sent to Banjul. If Jammeh says, “(Borry) was arrested in The Gambia and handed over to Abdoulaye Wade’s Government to be tried for his outrageous crimes.“ He (Jammeh) is telling lies, Borry was exchanged for the team arrested in TambaCounda allegedly said to be linked to the Farafenni Camp attack. The two governments (Dakar and Banjul) merely exchanged prisoners. Borry was never handed over (as per the meaning of the word) to be tried in Dakar. Borry Diedhou alone was exchanged with/for a team of 6-8 men!!! The 8-man-team: Sulayman Sarr, Aboubakr-Mballow Kanteh, Gibril Jallow, Bamba Drammeh, Swandi/Swanschi Camara, AbdouRahman Baldeh, Essa Baldeh, and Omar Dampha (John Dampha/Diouf Dampha). In the night Borry was taken out of Mile II, and the TambaCounda team from Dakar came, I had my serious military thoughts. I foretold a “General Attack“ on MFDC areas. My analyses were confirmed correct when the MFDC camps were attacked/strafed and destroyed, and later Borry was released as a free man-here I credit Jammeh. He (Borry) shortly lived in Talinding-Kunjang/Sere Kunda where his wife, Hawwa Baji also lived. ”
