Very best of luck in what I bet is a very long and protracted case it will take years to get sorted and can see many not getting their pensions in time to enjoy their lives,however the lawyers will make a lot of money.

This case reminds me of some foreign embassies in London whose staff pile up congestion charges bills from the Mayor's office and they just simply ignore them because they know the courts are powerless to deal with them refusing to pay thanks to their diplomatic immunity.

The British High Commission may feel morally obliged to contest these claims and safeguard their reputation as a responsible employer but in reality, they can refuse to pay if the court decides against them and nothing will come out of it.


I rather negotiate with a diplomat than to take him to court.
