I strongly agree.
He should recuse himself from the case for a fair trial to be given.I don't even know why he was assigned the case in the first place when there are more senior judges to handle such a high profiled case?

Do you even expect a fare trial? How can there be a fare trial when the accused are made to confess under duress on national TV. Under most jurisdictions, the case has already faltered and a mistrial will be declared. What is the use of a trial where there is already a confession?
