I want us to discuss the good things that the AU will accord Gambians. I am sure there are positive contributions.The floor is open.

I really cant think of any positive things it will bring to the gambia as many millions is spend for a weeks of DICTATORS meetings.

it is a capitalist world for some.

it looks more like Maslows Hierarchy of Being, what's need first - food, shelter etc for quality of life, but many of the big caps can't see it, looks like a cat eat cat world to them.. and so many underdogs never get out from under because of ethnic rivalry, greed, etc. and all the associated problems... politics.

we need peoples solidarity/ world without frontiers - boundaries - for support.

The problem with Maslow is that people do not necessarily have structured needs. In Africa it looks like we start from the top of the hierachy coming down. That is reverse development. We have limousines and hummers when we have no food or shelter.

yep, this is true, what you say..about maslow

i am thinking from the perspective of someone seeking a just society where human want and suffering is diminished

a good leader would focus on that first and forget the sabaar at the high mucka mucka summit..
