With passage of time, there is always a moment of reflection. Those who saw it happen and now seeing it happen can tell the story better. How was Gambia and Senegal in the times of President Abdou Diouf and Sir Dawda Jawara? How is Senegal and Gambia today under Abdoulaye Wade and Yaya Jammeh?
What is there anyone missed from the days of Diouf and Jawara? What is there to celebrate in the days of Yaya Jammeh and Abdoulaye Wade? Considering the geo-politics and social relations shared by the two nations, what has gone better or worse with the two political eras in contrast?
If there is something to predict for the near future? How will Wade and Jammeh end the show in their persons and also as heads of government?
Where do we go from here?
