The Gambia Police Force is urging the listed names to report to nearest police stations within 24 hours! What a joke this government is? Is it a crime to register your name under a forum? Only fools will answer to this call!!!

Well done the jammeh police force. I have never knew that registering in a chatroom is illegal.

You rememeber the BOULUBA MARA FORCE just before independence when police officers tied cans of milk filled with pebbles around their ankles for march past training? The police force has not since graduated. Dont mind them. My advise is for them to work within the law and dont over-do things so that when the tides change they can still flow with the current.

Konds.

The problem is these police guys are not even aware of the right of the people. Honestly most of them have not been to school. I read the other day someone complaining about how ignorant the IGP is.

The man does not even speak good english. You cannot give such people such hight public office otherwise there will be no competence.

The next government must make sure that human right education is incorporated in all security services training programmes.

My dear friends. If this is true, it sounds so childish and so outrageous.. much like a "witch hunt". I am saddened for the people who are not allowed to have their own opinions and free speech.
This needs to be a basic right if anything can ever work
out anywhere. Its important to support the journalist rights.

The other thing I am wondering if those who are the authorities
are mentally stable and if they are in serious need of medication, and in house treatment by psychiatrists...

Newby,

Do you know jammeh? He is the head of these people. I am very confident that the guy is not stable. Hundred percent sure. The Gambia is very very very unlucky to have someone like jammeh as the head of state. It is disgraceful.

Hi fellows,
When a community resorts to taking political decisions by recourse to armed force or gang rule by might of individual muscle, the rule of constitutional law are either non-existent,or general enlightenment have not been received by the people.
this leads a state to paralises.
