No, no double standards. Democracy is bout being able to shake hands with you opponent and congratulate them when they do things right. I congratulated the APRC candidate and then a few hours later there was a posting that the opposition candidate was arrested. That is disappointment from their part.

Well my congratulatory message for November 2006 is still in draft. With the way things are, and God sparing our lives, APRC will sweep the polls. I may not like it, but if they win, i will gracefully shake their hands that the will of the people put them in office. Then, again i will retire to my room and see where we went wrong and how we can encourage and convince the electorate to vote for our programmers.

This is no double standard.

Kondorong am sorry to say that if Jammeh and APRC won ths Election 2006. Most of us would see it as a nasty stab protruded through our hearts and what follows would be a tragedy, more desperateness to the brink of absolute madness, frustration and morale death! May God forbid that; i.e. to allow Jammeh succeeds, manipulate and survive Election 2006. As far as am concern Jammeh and APRC does not deserve any congratulatory or compromise with their astrocities in the guise of exercising democracy through that Election 2006. No way that's unacceptable and don't advise you to relax your principles , espirit de corps with us, spirit of struggle, togetherness, campaign for peoples' power, justice, transparency, accountability, progress, liberty and democracy inter alia.

However can you tell me how your draft congratulatory message would look like?

The freedom fighters are many but they appear to lack coherence and proper coordination. A lot of of us are totally disorientated on what we want and how to get them? There is no common objective or GOAL(S)! Don't count down or underestimate "enemies of freedom"?

Really it is hard to say but I belief 100% that Jammeh will rule until he feels like to go or forced out of office. He said this himself many times.Elections are just formalities.Everyone concerned, should let the world know what is happening in that tiny but paradise of Africa.
Don,t you people have ears? He[Jammeh] said if any opposition whats to be president of the Gambia, you have to be more patient than a volture... Is that not what he said?
So whay the waist of energy and violence?

Kondorong, it is nice to have you back. I am glad all is well but am concerned when you mentioned that if you are online at internet they become suspicious. It is becoming a police state.
Ebra stay focused and take note of what some of the memebers have to say. They have your interests at heart.

Jammeh can only state what he wants and it does not necessarily mean that things will happened the way he wants it.

No one is in control of his/her life. What may or may not happen to ones life is a complete mystry to one self. This is why as muslims whenever we wake up in the morning in good health we say ALHAMDOU LILLAH (Thank Allah). Let jammeh makes his noises and we make up our minds up. I made up my mind about him a long time ago any way.

Don't you realized that Big brother is watching and within as a watchdog on these delicate times at the moment. Beware of it and the trauma recently experienced by freedom newspaper. Therefore am not confortable when you bring up "who is ....?" and discussing certain topics now. During my research on for a current topic to access certain facts I experienced "WARNING CNNOT BE ACCESSED?" and found some of our recent political Bantaba's compilation and intellectual discussions filled and accessed on a unknown website with open access and no need for password routine check .

Hey, Kobo, see the positive: The Bantaba members are celebrities now! Being copied is the nicest of all compliments - even if it is only 'copy & paste'... .

On the other side, imagine the disappointment of a paranoiac when he sees that the CIA is not after him, and he is not even worth their interest! (Ok, I really have a dark and bizarre humour day...)

But all joking aside, I would like to see this site. If it means no risk for you, could you give us the address?

You won't believe it that you can access the whole of this topic "NADD supporters in MN demanded a unified coalition" trademarked as Gambian intellectuals discusses etc under Goggle search machine if you enquire about "Kukoi Samba Sanyang 1981". However you would eventually get restrictive accessed on certain classified information about Kukoi.
