Dembish

Your excessive optimism continues about the party you believe in. That is ok. There is an election coming and I will be glad to tell you 'i told you so'.

diaspora! Too many Chiefs and Very Few Indians.

Halifa Salah: PDOIS is however realistic. It is fully aware that the Gambian voters are yet to reach a level of political consciousness that they rely on to vote on the basis of Principles, policies and programmes and practices.

1. Maafanta.com reports;Maafanta Transcribes Speeches At The Brikama UDP Rally No Retreat No Surrender - says Jatta Ousman Alias Rambo Jatta (UDP National Youth Leader) under http://www.maafanta.com/MaafantaRamboTranscribe.html

BEFORE "IF YOU CANNOT BEAT THEM JOIN THEM!"

I THINK "IF YOU CANNOT BEAT THEM JOIN THEM" TOTALLY CONTRADICTS "NO RETREAT NO SURRENDER". ANOTHER FALLEN HERO ALSO DON'T RULE OUT THE "MARABOUTS", WITCH CRAFT & POWERFUL DARK FORCES AT WORK WITH RAMBO. SOME WILL QUESTION "WHETHER THEY GAVE HIM SOMETHING TO DRINK?" AND ALL SORTS OF SUPERSTITIONS WITH AFRICAN POLITICS WELL THAT'S NOT THE CASE; ACCORDING TO WAA JUWAARAITS ABOUT ISSUES, PROGRAMMES, STRATEGY, PUBLIC TRUST ON APRC & FAILURE OF OPPOSITION!

NOT EVERYONE WILL END THE JOURNEY!

Bro. Kobo,
Ousaman Rambo is well known to me and I have been following these forum concerning his deffection to the AFRC with his main comment as "IF YOU CANNOT DEFEAT THEM, JOIN THEM"ummmmmmmmmm that is not Ousman I know. Anyway as you rightly said that contradicts his earlier statements he made at Brikama and all other rallies.
Only Ousman Jatta knows why he choose to defect to a party who have inflicted so much pain to him. I am sure Rambo is no Waa Juwara and people should not compare them.I knew this man so much and we have been friends and still communicate.I have spoken to him twice since his defection and the reason I didnot jump to conclussion like many on this forum is only Rambo know what he is doing.
The fact is UDP made Rambo famous just like APRC made him look weak and cheap. For Rambo to cercrifice his princilpes for which he choose to suffer so much at the hands of his toturers, is more than meet the eye and only time will tell. In the mean time, I think for us wonderers, One should look at events that led to his defection.Rambo was invited to the NDEA and all of a suddent he became APRC just like that with the word "if you cannot beat them join them"........... Interesting isn't it?
What was Rambo doing at the NDEA offices before his so called defection to the APRC? These are the main question one should ask!
Time will tell and as Ousainou rightly said Rambo can never vote APRC when ever he comes alone in the ballot box and he looks at Ousainou's box and that of Yahya Jammeh.
I respect his decission and that would have nothing to do with our friendship.Everything happened for a reason.

But if the APRC THINKS THEY CAN USE WHAT EVER MEANS THEY HAVE TO UNDERMINE OR HIJACK PEOPLE'S STRIVE FOR PROPER DEMOCRACY IN OUR MOTHERLAND, THEN THEY SHOULD THINK AGAIN.

TRUTH SHALL SET US ALL FREE

JANYAFAARA HOW CAN YOU SAY "RAMBO KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING?"; WITH THIS STUNNING U-TURN 360 DEGREES

YOUR COMMENTS & ATTEMPT TO COVER UP THIS SINISTER DOUBLE-CROSS MOVE OR IN LOCAL VERNACULAR "JAMFA SI BIRR JAMFA" IS PATHETIC!

AND WAA OPENS THE DEBATE FURTHER ON HAMAT BAH/DARBOE RELATIONSHIP WITH THIS ALLEGATION AMONGST OTHERS AS QUOTED; "I am not surprised that the UDP/NRP unholy alliance is going to pieces, because Hamat Bah is now saying that he is going his own way; that he is not going to be a partner where Darboe is going to be the automatic leader."

Laughs,
Kobo,
would you ever take waa seriously? if he is an opposition as he claimed he still is, who is he opposing? Definately not the APRC.
So when we discuss and you bring up people like waa, you spoil the whole forum.Waa is my blood uncle but he is fake and has been since the first republic. He is fame hungry and you and I knew this.

For Ousman, well I said he knows what he is doing because you don't know the guy we talking about.
1.Rambo would not just out of the blue defect to APRC.What for and what is in there for him?
2.NDEA called Rambo in as you may be aware and out from there he became APRC. You see kobo you don't see a toad jumping out about in broad day light except something is after its life.
3.There is never a fire without a smoke. Rambo was captured unlawfully and detained for a whole year without any basis what so ever and the people he now claimed to joined denied having him and with all that suffering, he never gave up until a one day meeting with NDEA?
My friend kobo HE RAMBO KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING OR HE IS NOT WITH HIMSELF.

Look Jayanfara if Waa is indeed your uncle he is one of my favorite personalities in Gambian politics and being his relative you of all people should be careful what statements you make referring to your Uncle. I tend to totally dis-agree with your assertion that he was power hungry since the last republic. That is a bogus statement and I would like for you to prove it with evidence not just speculation and if you decide to speculate make sure we all know that its just what you believe and think which could be 360 degree far from the truth and reality. I think it is time for ya'll to ask Rambo why he was arrested for an extended period of time instead of all these nonsense crap being peddled. Ask the brother why he was arrested and what made him decide to join the ruling party. Most of ya'll are "Chuneehs" and the fact is Rambo has the right to switch allegiance if he so deems it fit especially in a cloudy political atmosphere. As Somita stated down playing Rambo's significance is a total joke. It is the biggest blow the Opposition has seen or dealt with since its downward spiral and eventual non existence. The Gambian opposition is a lost cause and like Terangba stated only a new breed can revive Gambian politics and thats not the Clowns and criminals running around cyberspace. .................................................Peace

I am Jebel Musa better yet rock of Gibraltar, either or,still a stronghold and a Pillar commanding direction

JANYAFAARA YOU GOT MORE LAUGHING STOCKS THAN ENTERTAINING YOURSELF WITH LAUGHS!

WAA STATEMENTS ARE VERY STRONG, CLEAR & STRAIGHT FORWARD DECLARATIONS TO SET THE RECORDS STRAIGHT! FOR EXAMPLE NOT THE KIND OF MIXED MESSAGES WE ARE GETTING WITH HAMAT BAH'S AMONGST OTHERS;

FIRST FROM THE POINT NEWSPAPER REPORTS 24TH MAY 2010; "Briefing reporters, Hamah Bah also opined that the disintegration of the National Alliance for Democracy and Development (NADD), meant the opposition had squandered the golden opportunity given to them by God and the people of The Gambia." THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT WAA ENDORSED ABOVE WITH THIS STATEMENTS FROM HAMAT BAH! Also related Bantaba Gambian politics topic The opposition has No chance- Waa Juwara underhttp://www.gambia.dk/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=10285

THEN HAMAT BAH'S RECENLY REMARKED AGAIN;"“I’m not interested in any opposition alliance, because I have invested so much efforts into a political alliance and I have realized that the partnership of calling an opposition alliance in this country is not genuine, and I don’t want to be in any situation that is not genuine. There is more hatred; there is a lot of hatred within the opposition circles than outsiders may think,” he said.

ITS A SHAME TRYING TO BE DODGY AS WE DON'T UNDERSTAND THE DOUBLE STANDARDS"WHY THEY CANNOT CONTINUE THE UDP/NRP/GMC ALLIANCE?" BOTH UDP AND NRP SHOULD OPENLY EXPLAIN THE REASONS AND TELL US THE TRUTH WHY EACH DECIDED TO GO SOLO IF THE FIRST TERM OF THEIR ALLIANCE CONTRACT & AGREEMENT EXPIRED AND THEY DON'T WANT TO RENEW IT? EVEN IT WAS NOT RENEWABLE THEY SHOULD OPENLY DECLARE THAT TO THE PUBLIC WHY THE BOND BETWEEN THEM AS ALLIES IS OVER ITS NOT THE WAY HAMAT EXPOSED HIMSELF THROUGH THE POINT NEWSPAER? SO ITS OPEN FOR SPECULATIONS AND WAA HAS CHALLENGED THEM

ON RAMBO'S DEFECTION DARBOE THE UDP LEADER HAS HANDLED THE SITUATION WITH EXCELLENT REMARKS FOR CLOSURE OF CASE 1 TO MOVE ON!

ANOTHER CASE NO. 2 DEFECTION AS THE OBSERVER NEWS REPORTS Another UDP stalwart defects to APRC UNDER http://observer.gm/africa/gambia/article/another-udp-stalwart-defects-to-aprc

ALSO RELATED BANTABA GAMBIAN POLITICS TOPIC Another Defection Story- UDP final Disintergration UNDER http://www.gambia.dk/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=10286

ON "UDP IS LARGEST OPPOSITION PARTY" ; "The APRC national mobiliser declared that the opposition in the country is dead, saying that all they do is to create false impression about their might and strength. He added that the polls will always give a clear verdict.

To advocate for a total death of opposition in The Gambia is a complete IGNORANCE if we claim to be a democracy and and believe in diverse opinion, views and the advantages of a multiparty system.Moe Take note, president jammeh himself will not like that because is only going to depict the Ignorance of the citizenry.

YOU DIDN'T GET IT

YOU WAIT UNTIL JAMMEH SETS A WORLD RECORD ELECTION RESULTS TO SWEEP THE 2011 POLLS &NAIL THE COFFIN TO AWAKEN OR MAKE YOU UNDERSTAND WAA & APRC MOBILISER'S POLITICAL POINT FOR "DEATH OF OPPOSITION"

A GOOD PRESENTATION TO MOBILISE OPPOSITION & ALL OPPONENTS TOWARDS THE COMMON GOOD FROM FREEDOM ONLINE NEWSPAPER Gambia: Gambia’s Opposition Shocks! By Khalifa Gibba. UNDER http://www.freedomnewspaper.com/Homepage/tabid/36/mid/367/newsid367/5894/Gambia--Gambias-Opposition-Shocks/Default.aspx

You see KOBO and MOE,
You guys are not real, for you kobo, who is talking about Hamat Bah here? People are talking about Ousman Jatta (Rambo) I am on coate saying that only Rambo can tell why he choose to join the APRC having just few weeks of months publicly stated...............READ

Ousman Rambo Jatta, National Youth President of the UDP who hope to be the next Mayor of the Kanifing Municipality “under the presidency of Lawyer Ousainou Darboe” claimed to be the only National Youth President throughout the country and that he is there for all the youths of the country...............He then turned towards the UDP supporters and said, “if anybody is unwilling to stand up to the bullies, then go home. The irritating atmosphere created by the government is intolerable, but the Gambia is where we are equal in.
APRC does not have any higher priviledge in the Gambia more than the UDP, and this time we will go all the way out.”
Meaning, the bullies will meet their match

THESE WERE THE WORDS OF RAMBO JUST LAST SEPTEMBER 2010. FOUR MONTHS AGO.
Now if rambo today decides to turn to the same green boys and share their brutal campaign strategies and intimidations against Jammeh oponents, that is HIS CHOISE and I am right to say only Rambo know why he decide to defect four months after making a national public statement like that.
All the same READ THE NEXT LINE....

.......Whatever strategy adopted by the UDP, its rally in Brikama have paid dividend to attract up to twelve youths who defected from the APRC ruling party......

.......on the 24th september 2010, Nineteen people, led by one Mariama Badjie of Bakau Newtown last Sunday announced their defection from the ruling APRC party to the main opposition United Democratic Party, UDP. The seven men and twelve women, who claimed to be previously staunch members of the APRC, expressed frustration with the one-man rule that currently prevails in the country and the growing difficulties of making ends meet in the country in a well attended meeting in central Brikama, in the Western Region......... ....reported by the GAMBIA JOURNAL

So that shows you Rambo might have gone but people are joining the UDP on a daily basis and you know it.

Concerning those who question Darbo's leadership within the UDP and calling themselves diehard core UDP Supporters, I challenge them to a live debate on any national forum and I will prouve to the entire Gambian readership that they are not UDP spporters but former symphatisers. You see in politics there are supporters , members and symphatisers.

Every Gambian within the UDP has every right to challenge Darbo's leadership within the UDP .There are so many provissions to do these one of which is by calling for a leadership contest.None of Darbo's critics within the socalled supporters would want to challenge him through that way then why not do as Rambo did quit if you are not happy with his style of leadership because Darboe has the pupolar support of the membership and that is what democracy is all about. Honest Gambians lets all be fair to ourselves. If this is not democracy then I don't know what is.

MOE,
Yes WAA is my uncle and he knows me since birth but am different from you in every wa.The Gambia is more to me than my blood brother much more an Uncle who barely cared about my views. You would stick to protecting lies regardless.I speak with WAA always and he knows my opposition to his views. Can I tell you when WAA was released from MILE2 many of us that day did not eat waiting for him to come out and welcome Him like a hero. These were at the orders of Darboen if you must know.
But what did WAAA do? He came with the view that it is his time trying to undermine Darboe's leadership just like Baba Jobe tried to do with Jammeh. What I am telling you WAA knows I was sharing the same vehicle with him during thew 2001 campaign.
You see if you want to lead allow those ahead to serve until God or people terminate their services then when they choose you then you can proudly do your service.

I have little more to say on this topic.Kobo you can be every where and nowhere for all I care and if Jammeh win by landsline so be it Halifa and Darboe both looses.Don't think it is only Darboe. Little GOD of PDOIS will also be politically dead.

Mark my words AS LONG AS THE udp IS ALIVE, EVEN IF ousainou darboe IS DISQUALIFIED AT THE NEXT ELECTION, udp's next presidential CANDIDATE WOULD DEFEAT your god!

If your party wants coalition with us let them come to us and we can discuss their issues and compare it with our issues, jointly table them ands come up with a common goal that would suit both parties.

But not cat and mouse game UDP is more mature than that.

Assalam to you.
LONG LIVE THE GAMBIA!
