I ask all members of the Bantaba to join together, please do not let the freedomnewspapers fold.
When I wrote in bantaba last week that i was disappointed in the postings, it was an article on freedomnewspapers web site that made me think enough is enough.
The article was about the president sending his mother to brussels for treatment, the other articles were about people who are missing or in prison. Without the freedemnewspaper some articles would not get published. this forum has changed a lot of the past weeks, rightly so because the situation in Gambia. but some the postings I am reading are getting lost.
I ask for information or advice or clarification on something I have read and get abuse. it is not just me but others on the forum have felt the same way.
Because of what I have read I have changed my thinking and plans for Gambia. the Bantaba has been great for me everything negative and positive, but please do not let the one form of media that was able to print such information be destoryed. When I went online to bantaba, last week i checked daily observor, point newspaper, and freedomnewspaper. freedomnewspaper led with the story about president mother getting medical treatment in Belguim, the Daily Observor led with announcement of a beauty pageant and another donation being made to AU.
I am not sure how it can be done, but freedom must not be closed.
