As i was doing my morning routine of reading all the newspaper pertaining to the Gambia, i decided to check the freedom newspaper and to my surprise the web site was down and with a message that pa nderry decided to join the Aprc campaign. It also provides names and email addresses of his sources both home and abroad. Am i dreaming and can someone help.

What do you expect, if you continue to struggle against the Government for justice and fair paly you are not seeing results rather than being frustrated by common weaknesses ranging from selfishness, greed, sychophancy, double standards, hypocrisy and all sorts of weaknesses from the average Gambian elites always being manifested, don't you think its wise to compromise your integrity to condone their acts and work with them before you end up loosing and victimised?
My slogan appears to be seen applicable here "If you cannot beat them join them". Good luck Pa Ndery as you have already seen many turncoats. |

| Pa Nderry is not insane enough to sell out to the dictatorship. Crazy as his journalism may be, he wouldn't stoop down that low. He just happened to the victim of a computer hackers who had access to his files. They are most likely working with dictatorship to bring down Pa Nderry and his associates. They had information about his sources and all other correspondence by e-mail. This is a very poor lapse of security on the part of Pa. I hope Momodou is taking note to guard against these hackers working for the dictator. If you have been in touch with Freedom newspaper via private or public e-mail be very worried. The NIA is probably working on your case by now. I hope Mr Mbaye will learn big lesson from this and put in the adequate security measues next time. BTW the same hacker are also imposting Mr Mbaye in many online fora. |

| Thanks Shaka for your intervention and making us more beware of bizzaire and other clandestine operations done and be security alert! Two days ago I encountered being blackout to participate and post through Bantaba for over 24 hours. |

| The Freedomnewspaper has just been hacked. I hope Pa took security measures and did Backup his data. The Freedom will rise again. I am not panniking. This happens all the time in cyberspace. What is frightening is the exposure of the "identities" of the innocent registered members. The NIA must be having a field day. yeh,rah |

Pa is still writing as I write getting crazier by the minute with his repetitive B.S of unsubstantiated gossip flooding people's mailboxes. The freedom newspaper is a vehicle for him to run his mouth and then call it journalism. He has just been given a bit of advise to listen, read and gain some perspective than writing just to get some attention clog up peoples inbox with repeditive garbage in size 16 navy blue bold fonts. The Hackers into his mailbox could in all fairness be anyone sick of reading his trash day in and day out, or just a random hacker.

| I am more worried about people in the Gambia whose names, phone numbers and addresses are brandish in public. I just pray to God they do not fall victim to NIA nocturnal visits. . I could also see the names of some members of this bantaba on the list. Hope you learn some lessons from this. I would likewise advice Momodou to get rid of the IP addresses from the old forum as soon as possible. |

Hi Shaka, you seem to be in a panic mood. Its unfortunate what happened to the website but that is Pa Nderry's headache and not ours here. We are all responsible for our actions and his forum and this Bantaba are not in anyway asociated with each other.
I will advice him to fire his webmaster and change ISP if the security breach was theirs.

| What a sad story should Pa have been a victim of hackers. I hope this won't cause extrme loss to him. If the story is indeed true then I must say that we all betrayed by him. Whatever the case, some people are going to fall victim of this unfortunate inccident as their identities have been revealed and collated by the authorities back home. I hope they are not being arrested! |

Bantaba is unique, educative and resourceful on a range of issues as no one dictates what flows through. However the debates, exchanges and flows of ideas established to verify the facts and sources as whether reliable or not, accurate or not, useful or meaningless. Really Bantaba is a healthy and well secured (hopefully) fora to up-date and educate Gambians. |

What an ironi. Going through the list, I finally nailed fake_Rah the impostor, who has been using my username and e-mail address on the Allgambian Forum posting messages. Now I know who you are. You can run but you can't hide. The hacker/s did my job for me.yeh,rah

The Freedom Newspaper editorial file has invaded by Jammeh terrorists who went ahead with their threat to close down the paper as promised. The impostor(s) few days ago invaded my private email account password and sent a mail to the Gambia post mailing list claiming that Pa Nderry M'Bai joined the APRC. This morning I woke up and saw the impostor pulled out our member's information details and posted it online. The impostor also claimed that I have joined the APRC, which is a damn lie. The Jammeh terrorists are work.
For the past two days, this Editor received numerous death threats by people calling themselves Jammeh supporters. The voice mail of such killers had been recorded. Their private emails threatening to take my life has also been stored.
One Mr.Njie in Norway is banditing an email which was sent to me privately in a bid to black mail me on the Gambia L. I suspect that he is one of the collaborators out to undermine me. But God is on my side. The Freedom Newspaper is under attack. We shall overcome the challenges. On the whole Jammeh has trained online terrorists who can ground a paper. Why are you scared of the Freedom Newspaper? Your next move is to kill Pa Nderry M'Bai. We wait for that day. The Freedom Newspaper shall past the test of time.
To our esteem readers, the Freedom Newspaper, wish to assure you that move behind this action is calculated to scare our dependable and well trusted sources on the ground.
