Police: Theft and misuse of Facebook photos is legal
http://www.dr.dk/Nyheder/Indland/2013/10/16/094633.htm

Imagine someone stealing your pictures, your name, your information and abuse them in your name - without either you or the police can do something about it because it is not illegal.

This article in Danish explains that the police can do nothing when Several thousand people every year get their pictures and private information used on fake dating profiles online.
"46,900 Danes each year are being robbed of their identity online, and the police use considerable resources to catch the thieves who commit fraud and financial scams online.
But in most cases - where someone steals pictures or private information, for example, a facebook profile - the police can do nothing.
- For the police to do something, it requires that it is illegal. And many of the things we talk about here, as one can call harassment, there is no law against" says the Head of the National Police Department against cybercrime, to DR News

Make your profile private
"What you have available online, can be misused by others", says Johhny Lundberg.
Do not be paranoid, the web is a great place to be and can give us a lot. However, there is always someone out there who can abuse what we do out there.

Momodou, as I wrote on another topic on Bantaba in Cyberspace:

"GOOD INFORMATION is always useful"

"Simple is good" & I strongly dislike politics. You cannot defend the indefensible.
