NO COMMMENT !

The new Gambia under the leadership of President Adama Barrow has not offered Gambians anything much better for now if not for “politics of deception and financial inducement” Dudu Kassa Jaata
“Under the Barrow leadership there is lack of control of the sky rocketing prices of basic commodities; of which the ordinary citizens are finding very difficult to meet” Jaata expressed.
Jaata was speaking in an exclusive with the Daily News yesterday at his party’s political bureau in Manjai Kunda. He said since the coming into office of the incumbent President Adama Barrow; he promised Gambians a low cost of living; but unfortunately what Gambians are facing now is high cost of living. A bag of rice is more than a thousand dalasi and house rents is unaffordable.
“There is lot of unemployed youths who are loitering our streets as the government of Adama Barrow is not able to create jobs for them” Jaata said
Jaata called on President Barrow to revisit his promises made to Gambians two and half years ago. One of them is curbing the prices of basic commodities such as rice, Iris potatoes and onion.
The crime rate is on the increase which is also very unfortunate. People are killed and lots of house breakings are happening coupled with numerous unlawful acts. Jaata said.
Jaata also spoke of the three years mandate which is much talked off; he said the President and his coalition government must respect their campaign promises. He told the Daily News that Gambians no longer can go back to the politics of deception and monetary inducement like how Jammeh was doing Her warn Barrow desist.
The Coalition team told Gambians to vote them in for a transition period of three years no more no less.
Therefore it is either the coalition respect their own promises or they face the consequences. Jaata asserted.
Asked about the country’s hosting of OIC submit, Kassa said this government is a failure and that they cannot any longer host the OIC submit as there is nothing significant ready on the ground. There are no roads connecting the airport and the main conference halls and no hotels for the visiting heads of States.
Asked of his opinion on Barrow and Jammeh comparisons? The only different between Barrow and Jammeh is that he (Barrow) has not killed or torture yet. The Barrow administration is sliding into what use to obtain under the JAMMEH regime; the issues of sackings and unnecessary arresting of citizens is already here. That is what use to obtain under the Jammeh regime.
We have just seen the arrest of 15 peaceful protesters; such arrests are uncalled for. He called on the regime to either charge those arrested or let them go free. He asked why arrest people who have not acted violently and did not block any traffic or cause havoc.
The one time big critic of the Jammeh regime condemned the act of President Barrow turning the State House into a political bureau.
If Barrow is interesting in contesting the next elections and he is not happy with the UDP let him form his own political party and campaigned decently, he cannot hide behind the UDP and want to politic. No that will be a no go area for him and his political advisors.

"Simple is good" & I strongly dislike politics. You cannot defend the indefensible.
