Momodou is very shy,and let's face it you could hardly put an award to yourself on your own website could you !

http://www.maafanta.com/grandmasirrehawards2012cerem

Momodou appears in the list as No.9

Very well done.

Funny how Maafanta used your avatar (Cheik Anta Diop) to represent you, Momodou. Maybe time to put a picture of yours out there.

I checked my chin, I am growing gray hair, and I asked what must make hair gray at such a young age? Bless my soul, I would love to live longer to see all that hair gray.

Humor aside, I was quite embarrassed to see my name featured. Among all those who qualified for the award, I am certainly on the bottom, though I appreciate Sister Fatou/Maafanta's fans thoughts and regards of me.

Mawdo Kobo, once I get that Ghandi portrait, I will give it to you.

Best regards,
Yero

Thanks Dalton 1. Please keep that token awarded in recognition of national development efforts, goodwill and support to the Gambian community for your kids and grand children to remember your 2012 Grandma Sirreh awards amongst prominent patriotic Gambians, renown personalities and living legends writing a political history in an era of tyranny

GREAT ACHIEVEMENTS, INSPIRATIONS, FUN, HAPPY 2012 ENDING AND EVERY ONE ON LIST IS A WINNER AMONGST OTHER UNSUNG HEROES AND HEROINES

FEEDBACK AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS FROM MAAFANTA.COM;

Well said,an excellent quote by Legacy,
Here is another excellent one by the same author (taken from Shannon's blog page) which could have been equally used by Legacy:

" To not stand back and do nothing, to contribute, to inspire, to help others, to be seen and heard. "

Africans have a lot of talents. I was listening to this love song composed by Ruqayatu (I believe from Nigeria) and I must tell you my hat off to her. Enjoy readers!
