I have tried over the last couple of days to read the online newspaper the Daily News,all I get a blank page,does that mean there is nothing to write about happening in The Gambia ?, has the owner been arrested ? Given up ? Died ? not paid the hosting fee ? Anybody know ?

Still not there,either the Editor and staff have taken a holiday or they may be suffering a NAWEC power outage, or decided to cease publication, who knows,someone will tell us in the near future I am sure. |

This paper appear to be critical of the government! sometimes they gave sound bites against Gambia government! Hope the editorial below did not land them into political conflict?

| There are other newspapers that take the same line those are still functioning, I suspect that the "staff" of The Daily News is very small and that he or they have other things to occupy them at this time,I suspect that in two weeks or so the paper will be back in line. |

| Toubab, information is that they have technical problem on the server side. The paper version is being published though. |

Still off line, I suspect that they may have decided that online issues cannot be sustained and have decided just to go with hard copy for Gambians at home.Unless Momodou has an update ?
