In regard to topic "Is Gambian president drug dealing..." and the last posting at this moment, more serious information about the film is to be found here http://themirrorboy-movie.com/ Judging by the trailer it seems very interesting and I want to contribute that the film can be shown in a forthcoming film festival. Looking forward to it very much.

For all the money Jammeh is alleged to have spent on it, it seems reasonable and might help sell the image of the Gambia to the wider world-something that appears very important to Jammeh's self-image. However, at least the trailer appears to fall short of being truly a Gambian narrative. But I will reserve my criticisms until the final version rolls out into the market... |

Hi Kiwi, Thanks again for sending in the link. I look forward to seeing Mirror Boy and hopefully this film will appeal to a lot of the African British Youth who need to connect to the continent. And of course challenge the stereotypes of Africa. It's good to see this Nigerian Gambian collaboration happening.

Wow looking forward to seeing this movie. |
diaspora! Too many Chiefs and Very Few Indians.
Halifa Salah: PDOIS is however realistic. It is fully aware that the Gambian voters are yet to reach a level of political consciousness that they rely on to vote on the basis of Principles, policies and programmes and practices. |
