turk - 7 : URU,GHA,NET,BRA,GER,ARG,SPA

concort - 6 : URU, GHA, BRA, GER,ARM, PAR

NEXT

URU - GHA > GHA
NET - BRA > BRA
ARG - GER > ARG
PAR - SPA > PAR

By the way, at this point I want GHA vs ARG final and I want GHA to be the world champion, although I know beating BRA is very difficult task to do. And I know SPA is favorite, but this is the new world order, right?

Halifa Salah: PDOIS is however realistic. It is fully aware that the Gambian voters are yet to reach a level of political consciousness that they rely on to vote on the basis of Principles, policies and programmes and practices.

Ha ha ha. The first world strikes back. Looks like the new world order needs to wait. I was doing so good until my emotions take over my logic.

Pink Lions Are you telling us that since they come from Holland (your equivalent of Sodom and Gomorra) they must all be gay? That would be very sick, Concort - i hope it is just your colourblindness..
Never mind, it will not spoil our fun - this tiny country is coloured ORANGE all over at the moment.

Turk, not one correct prediction for the quarter finals....no need for further comment !

By the way, what a horrible, heartbreaking way to lose for Ghana. But what a relief on the other hand to see that 'real' men(nothing pink there, of course ) can cry and be totally devastated for all the world to see. All my sympathy for this man, Mr Gyan!

As usual, well said, Anna,STUPID, "mistakes" by some who have posted on this topic just show their obsolite thinking processes in relation to the generally accepted views now held by all rationally thinking people.I apologise sincerly if that poster is disabled and unable to see things in the way those of us who are without a sight defect see things.

Toubab, he might have been referring to their skin colour (though if you watch the match and the players with unbiased attention anyone could see that the ORANGE team + substitutes is made up of people with all kinds of colours from very 'pink' (Dirk Kuyt) to very black (Elia) - it has been like that for ages, a true representation of the population of our country).
On this beautiful Sunday morning, i suggest we give him the benefit of the doubt .

See how my comments were taken out of context and were linked to something I never said? My comment was meant to make fun of you since you support the Netherlands football team... nothing more. If you are offended by my comment, I will remove my posting because it's never my intension to offend you. (If it was my intention to offend you, be assured that you would definitely know all about it). Just picking on you as you have done the same to me in the past. By the way, I'm neither color-blind nor have any ounce of racial prejudice in me.

Enjoy your day Anna. No ill feeling from Concort. Oh wait a minute, allow me to make one final prediction...your team will be defeated by Germany (4 goals to 1)in the finals. Just wait and see.

Pink? You are associating me with pink, because i support the Dutch team (of course i do since i am Dutch). If it is because of these pink roses, then i must change my avatar on the double (hate roses anyway, and i am definitely not a 'pink' person ). Are there some good books left, like Doris Lessing's 'The Golden Notebook'?

As i said, never mind....
Let's quickly change into orange. You might be right, we were humiliated in the finals by the Germans before so revenge is on our minds. First we have to win Uruguay though, and they will use everything in their power to win - even an attacker turning goal keeper using his hand and then calling it 'the hand of god'

Spot on Anna on your comment below. If it weren't for the handball, the Black Stars would still be celebrating. No excuses though, the Black Stars had three opportunities to wrap up the game, especially the penalty kick during the second half of the match. I will be rooting for your team since Uruguay sent the black Stars packing.

I like your last comment highlighted in orange. Now, you are truly representing Netherlands. Also, I noticed you've had an Avater makeover.

Isn't it 'hand of god' Argentina (Maradona) thing? Not Uruguay.

Turk, you are not very well informed these days. What's happening. Perhaps you are on Ginnack, losing your brain cells.
Suarez claimed to have 'the second hand of god', at least that was in the Dutch papers which are paying attention to Suarez because he is with Ajax. Now, Maradona used the 'first hand of god' to get the ball in and Suarez used the other hand to keep the ball out. Could we give god a red card, i wonder..

I am well informed, as you confirmed that Maradona had got the 'hand of god'. Sorry but I don't read Dutch papers. But I do like Amsterdam and stay there prior to Gambian trip to warm up.

Well done. It would be much better obviously if Dutch won, but maybe next time. As always, I supported the underdog, Dutch boys.
