WHATEVER HAPPENS AFTER DINNER
For some of the people currently facing the heat of Yaya Jammeh's electric broom and being tormented at Mile 2 Hotel, how do we deal with them? Sympathy? Anger? Punishment? Warning? Mockery? Hate? Jubilation? What and What?
Some will tell you that these are people who never thought all hell could break over their roof top. People who worked very little, earned least education, banking on crude skills, and yet commanded the best of society's shared resources. Like Yaya Jammeh who now prefers to enjoy all by himself, those who fell off the cable car to Merry Land in Gambia knew they enjoyed beyond their merit. Lot of them falsely stood by Yaya Jammeh on the belief that everything stays the same. Now some of them want to see Yaya eliminated instantly. But no, wait a minute. Is it Yaya alone to blame? These people thought it was normal getting rich quick just by singing praise to Yaya as commander of demons and super humans. Behind the scenes they insult and curse Yaya. Do we have to listen to their cries or leave them rot in the mosquito infected chambers of Mile 2 Hotel Taranga?
What do you think about all those fallen gang members who made so many people suffer and now sit in limbo?
Your candid judgement is crucial. Do we learn lessons or will others stay paddling till they sink too?
What do you think?

Brother it is the sayings of the Old Africans that those who wine and dine with the Devil ,do so a their own peril for indeed He is nobody;s best friend ; rather than that ,He is their worst enemy ,for those very same bedfellows are the ones He turns open to cast curses of doom and hell-fire from which they can scarcely be safe.Different people would have different feelings for these guys but I personally have nothing but feelings of contempt for them as they surely were participants in the evil being perpetuated against the populace. I surely have nothing against those who had no say in the administration of the country but got caught in the web of intrigue, but perhaps they too were too close to the said corridors of evil and might have been eating from the same proverbial plate as the evil/devilish guys so got their comeuppance.Having said the foregoing I also want to believe that some people suffer such mishaps due to their greedy selfish natures , which blind them to the obvious ,that is that they were bound to get this VIP card from the Devils Advocate. |

Lot of big catches there my brother Kaanibaa.
Greed, selfishness, being insensitive, delusion, cruelty, weakness, unpatriotic (even though that is what they paddle and peddle), injustice, the list goes on.
How on this planet does it become normal that those making least efforts continue taking the biggest share of public goods?
There is total state of uneven distribution in Gambia on very high scale. Particularly when you look at how long it has taken us as a nation sitting and watching Yaya Jammeh manipulating a whole population as though King Midas and the Golden Touch. It turns out as if whatever Yaya Jammeh touches turns into gold!!
Oh yes, Kaanibaa, more troubling times lay ahead. They that created the monster have it in their hands to destroy it. Now that the weight is heaping on them, they will find ways to handle it.
One big folly though is that we still have people who think this game can stay playing even in the most hostile socio-economic and political climate conditions as now prevails. |

Brother Dalton1,
Some of the people crying for help now never thought a day like this could dawn over them. There are many others sitting to watch what goes on. Little do they imagine it could be them to suffer next turn.
As a nation, we have to tackle this monster. He will never turn human. Yaya Jammeh will continue to test his deadly poison on people. He is cruel and very unreasonable. He knows that when caught, some people will revenge on him. But he does not care.
Don't slow down. This being has no reason to exist the way he does. If he will not change, people need to change. Silence and tolerance will not cure this deadly sickness.
Yaya is treating Gambians like animals in the wild. Not even animals in the zoo are treated this crude. He enjoys it, the spineless being he counts to be.
Those of you who think your turn may not come, think again. Yaya will test his magic stick on any person.
Big shame and pain to a nation. |

Ah, Brother Dalton1, listen to the deeper voices of deception. Reading what Mr Jallow wrote to Mr Jammeh, it is all about me, you, my this your that.
It has since become a norm that Yaya Jammeh raises his demon stick as if to beat. Deceptors like Famara Jallow sing praise and that's it. That man is not fit for any job in a serious police service. He is openly corrupt from what the Daily Observer published. If he could go that low in seeking to bribe Jammeh with words, he is there to take the last Dalasi coin from a poor farmer or set thieves and killers free when they can afford to bribe him.
The whole piece smells bribery and corrupt stuff. I can see him stamping his heavy boots on dirty deals. |
