Every child is capable of being nationbuilder and the sooner African children realise this the better after all they are Africa's future.

If the African Union is to be of any real signficance in 21st Century then it will need to be more self-sufficient. Therefore it's important for children to believe they are capable of achieving their goals ajnd obtaining their dreams. In the future our children will have to compete with other nations and be able to capitalise on human, physical, technological and natural resources.

Instead of division there needs to be co-operation. Instead of a win lose situation there needs to be a win win situation. It's called negotiation, reconciliation and unification for the continent to flourish. What needs to be embraced are peoples similarities and differences to be able to make most of the opportunities and challenges that it will be faced with in this century.

Africans have spent too much time fighting over politics whilst others take care of economics. It's about time Africa takes care of its economical situation by focusing on a vision of lifting Africans out of poverty and making it become a reality through the application of hard work, knowledge.perserverance and committment to nationbuilding.

I'm sure others can think of other attributes and qualities, because this lst isn't exhausted.

A change of mindset would be refreshing and it would be good if some of our new members or readers like to join the debate as you are welcome too.

Peace

Good one Sista.

diaspora! Too many Chiefs and Very Few Indians.

Halifa Salah: PDOIS is however realistic. It is fully aware that the Gambian voters are yet to reach a level of political consciousness that they rely on to vote on the basis of Principles, policies and programmes and practices.
