Brilliant and definitely not a rumour mill , abaraka baakeh ! Surely the electric broom is sweeping the grits off the hardened route; the A(F)PRC route. That green bottle did not accidentally fall , it was sent crashing by design, Bun Sanneh was on that pedestal for too long and the on-line reports about his shenanigans were rampant. I still think we do have others to follow soon, you see the big tree does not simply fall down , it goes down in a heavy way and the descent is almost always preceded by a huge wind gust which blows away the sprouts or smaller trees and even some bigger trees. I believe we are seeing the beginning of the end of the Yaya regime.Things falling apart and in very big ways now too, one wonders where the centre is now, what with all this chaotic syndrome of rampant sackings and arrests of kingpins of that regime.

Kaanibaa,

By fall of events, please pass on a fitting poem in grace of this unfolding episode. "Ning yiribaa boita...."

His xellency the president of the republic of the gambia, shiek professor doctor alhagi yaya a j j j jammeh................lol!

Culture Beat's Mr. Vain lyrics

Call him Mr. Raider
call him Mr. Wrong
call him Mr. Vain
Call him Mr. Raiderc
all him Mr. Wrong..
call him insane.
He'd say: I know what I want and I want it now!
I want you
'cause I'm Mr. Vain
I know what I want and I want it now!
I want you
'cause I'm Mr. Vain
Call me Mr. Raider
call me Mr. Wrong
call me insane
call me Mr. Vain.
Call me what ya like
As long as you call me time and again
Feel the presence of the aura
Of the man none to compare
Loveless dying
For a just to touch a hand
Or a moment to share
Can't deny the urge that makes them
Want to lose themselves to the debonair one
Hold me back the simple fact is
That I'm all that and I'm always near
One sexy can't perplex me now
You know who's raw
As if you didn't know before
I know what I want and I want it now
I want you then I want a little more
Call him Mr. Raider
call him Mr. Wrong
call him Mr. Vain
call him Mr. Raider
call him Mr. Wrong..
call him insane.
He'd say: I know what I want and I want it now! I want you
'cause I'm Mr. Vain.
I know what I wantand I want it now
I want you'
cause I'm Mr. Vain. (Mr. Wrong - Mr. Wrong - Mr. Raider)
Girls are all over the world
They hope and pray and die for men like me
'cause I'm the one begotten son that breaks the mold
Get a look at male epitome
Style has never seen
That makes you want to grab and hold
And squeeze real tight
Whose gonna be the one to save you from yourself
When you wanna take a bite
Please oh baby please
You beg you want to say
You got to get some caught up in the charm that I laid on thick
And now there's nowhere to run on the hook of my line
Yeah I keep many females longing for a chance to win my heart
With sex and pienty
Call him Mr. Raider
call him Mr. Wrong
call him Mr. Vain
Call him Mr. Raider
call him Mr. Wrong
call him insane
He'd say: I know what I want and I want it now! I want you
'cause I'm Mr. Vain.I know what I wantand I want it now!I want you'cause I'm Mr. VainVainVainVainVainVainVainVainVain...........

After listening to the announcement, the first thing that came to my mind was: Vanity!
Then Mr Vain, by Culture Beat started thumping in my brain, being the perfect discription of this megalomanic.
Please Mr. President, humble yourself, for God's sake!
