my friend is in gambia for 4 months, he said the tourists did not arrive for christmas. two things will not help gambia, one choice, if you are spending money on a holiday for christmas/new year, and have a budget of £500-600 google the holiday companies and see the choice. Gambia needs to step up its came. Secondly the holiday all in package is not good any more. for all other countries i could book a competitive flight and a competive hotel room, some of the hotels in gambia charge ridiculous prices for individual travellers, 70£ per night for sarges, i think not. try it and see.
