All these dismissals are definitely signs of insecurity.

The sky was the limit set for them by H E the President and hence they have reached it now, all that is left is for them to come tumbling down. Indeed people need jobs and so we get soldiers employed just like other services in the government system , what is so abnormal is the squeeze that the soldier group has place on the country, and for a very long time the party was going well for them, now though it seems the tables are turned and mates have turned to foes. We now wait to see who takes their places and how long they will last , this one surely did not last that long, Hey man! demoted to private and dismissed indeed is pathetic. It can only happen in wonderful Gambia, where everything is possible now.....he! he! he! ma waaru teh jesuma jinneh kanlang !
Second thought bothering me is does this guy trust any one at all? |

| "When they were up; they were up up up and when they were down; they were down! down! down!, but when they were only half way up they were neither up nor down" or these grand old tired soldiers of Gambia who marched up and down the crazy routes of fancy as in that elementary school song of old, never cease to amaze me. Bouncing up and down but surely all come tumbling down, broken or demoted to pieces.Let us wait to see how long this marriage last again. |

| That was excellent Toubab and it was exactly that song that reminded me of the satirical status of our men in uniform. One cannot help but feel sorry for them as they must be in the condition best described as in "confused dot com" hah !What ever we say about this situation , the current state of affairs are indicative of a crumbling regime which is beset with huge or highly corrosive issues bordering on security or lack thereof and which might lead to the final exit of the so-called strong man of Kaninlie. Jesus was never that ideal candidate for I.G.P; par excellence, he was simply put ; an impostor ,who was suitably available for the emperor's use and being expendable he goes when his use-by date expired ,like a puff of fart , unwanted and will be hardly missed . |

Whatever they suffer now is the price for 15 years teamed bandit connival. All the army in Gambia is about playing bandit. They have missed their role. Going on peace missions leaving behind mass sufferers in Gambia and taking it that they own the country. This is only a start. Before Chairman Jammeh tears apart, he will torment them, good enough, one by one.
Bags of sugar, milk and honey pots getting empty, now it is time to sniff and taste pepper and salt. The army in Gambia is one abysmal failure, big time. |
