Toubab, I don't know about this particular program which involves many western countries but the Gates foundation is also supporting the malaria research at MRC. I personally know someone whose research is sponsored through the foundation.

The Gates Foundation has a Malaria research programme at MRC as said by Momodou. The research is based in Farafenni and headed by Dr. Walraven from Germany who recently took up another appointment.

The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine has staff on the ground for the research in the person of Dr. Vassey.

Just being curious. One needs to show interest in one's country
