Jambo, according to Gambia's daily Observer latest updated yesterday, Balinda is still the vice speaker, the new speaker replacing Sheriff Dibba is Majanko Samusa. Be advised to view it as tentative like everything else in gambian politics. |

bamba you are right that i should take everything with a pinch of salt, but I read it on freedomnewspaper.com web page. It is one of the reasons I like bantaba, people will confirm or dismiss rumours, but if I do not ask i will not know. |

I thought Majanko was Sheriff's boy. He has learnt the ropes now well enough to succeed his boss. Be warned, what you gain on the swing, you loose on the roundabout. |

Kondorong, u tend to forget the rule of the game. In African politics dog eats dog. Is the extreme heat in Gambia affecting your rationality? (laugh). |

The heat is killing me. I need some ice from Stockholm. |

Dont mind sankofa. Did you not see him complaining about the locking of a topic. He seems to be reforming these days and asking for transparency. What a world. The Bantaba is teaching him well. |

Kondorong, do you really think someone like Sankofa can change from Saulus to Paulus so quickly? I have my doubts. But maybe he has a better alter ego, or he is suffering from a multiple personality disorder...? |

Sankofa needs to to opine that personality shifts are prerequisites for survival in Africa's fragile status quo |

bamba good morning, this is why i like bantaba, at 10.47 i asked about biddwell being the speaker and was advise to view it as tentative, at 19.20 it was confirmed by madiba. it is good that bantaba exits. So ms bidwell is gambian newest speaker, my question is this will gambia be happy.

Morning Jambo, if u set your mind to rebuff surprises in gambiam politics, u'll be on the right track. Gambian politics, under Yaya Jammeh, has become the most unpredictable globally. |

But Jambo how soon will settlement come about? About eleven years of government down the line, yet stabilty is out of horizon. Coming events should show their shadows before. Stabilty augurs economic boost. Investors are scared off where there is foiled coup every week whether true or not. |
