This detail article comprehensively assessed Jammeh's 14 years in office. What was an exciting, optimistic and promising movement - July 22nd, turned to be a nightmare with Gambians stock with a young soldier who's only formal education is High School and six months of elementary military training.

| it would be nice to see shaka's own analysis. speaking to a former senior parastetal employee yesterday, he said that, the cronic level of corruption and manipulations yahya is engineering in the gambian is unbelieveable. the guy said the gift that yahya hand over to parastetals are not gift. he said departments are later bill for things they don't need. he also said that every department head must be political whether you like it or not. he said now crook APRC folks are going arround harrassing decent business men for donations to the never ending parties, if any business man refuse, he is anti-aprc. the situation is getting out of hand basically. |

Its a merry go-around and celebrations of 15th towards 2020 are on the way The A.P.R.C agenda and domination of Gambian politics is on course, institutions and network growing from strenght to strenght! Our opposition parties and anti- Jammeh/A.P.R.C are bunch of toothless lions, tame cobras & fugitive panthers Many are totally dis-orientated and cannot mobilise anything effective against Jammeh's rule Militancy is not working for opposing Jammeh as there exists discrediting each other, under-mining of efforts, tribalism, mis-trust & dis-loyalty to the cause of freedom and justice to forward The Gambia our homeland! Halifa amongst others are many of our Obama (for change & hope!) but smearing (personality traits) affects them and many credible opposition leaders. Its high time we appreciate good potentials for good leadership within opposition ranks WHO ARE THOSE WHO SHOULD LEAD AND WE FOLLOW

I am beginning to understand a little,Kobo would you(or any other Gambian) please comment on the points below,these came to me in a flash without any deep thought,Am I wrong?
Change is something to be feared,
Change cannot be good we have managed this way for a long time,that is the way things are,we don't want change,
Why should we change?
The tribe is all important
All we want is to be left alone and live our lives as we have always done
There is only one leader
We don't want other people to tell us what to do
We have our own ideas and ways of doing things and they are right |

What's up Darboe are you now looking for a new job with the APRC. After all being lost in the wilderness can really be a lonely experience,not to mention a financially crippling one. I am relieved you have now become aware of the role and responsibilities that opposition plays as a balance and check mechanism within a multi party state.Although you made the decision to opt out of the national Assembly in 2001, at least you can admit that the APRC has made some progress in Gambia despite your attempts at trying to sabotage it. As for consultation with the opposition this function is normally carried out within the National Assembly. The place where you decided in 2001 to throw away your seat and what for the knights in shinning armour to come and rescue. And how did they respond??
Darboe the train has already left the station. What do you expect it to do stop and what for you to catch up or just keep on moving on?
