This is a fact and we will have to live with him until when we are ready to become each others keeper. There are endless numbers of gambians willing to kill and toRure for him.Right now while we mourn the death of some people, others are busy lobbying to take their positions. No wonder yaya said that he has over one million to chooose from and has no shortage of fanatics ready to excute any order. When yaya asks them to jump, the only question you will hear is " How high Sir". No one wil question why they jump in the first place
We therefore deserve yaya. A SOCIETY ONLY GETS THE LEADERS IT DESERVES.

Servitude, subservience have a lot to do with lost of self-esteem. Collective lost of self-esteem is the worst that can happen to any group or race. |

would you guys stop being so cynical; if you're not out there doing anything productive to get yaya out, you don't have the right to say anything. if you say US Gambians deserve yaya, then you do too - aren't you Gambian |

Kassma dont jump to conclusion. I have never said US Gambians. I said gambians. It does not matter whether one is US Gambian or Chinese Gambian, the bottom line is you are Gambian which includes anyone who calles himself Gambian. We created the monster and we deserve it.
I dont like to brag but i wish many could do as little as i did for my country. I take blame for my deeds and look no where else for a scapegoat. |

Kassma, the removal of despots in Africa is a process. We are now on the stage of spreading the consciousness. The actions will follow when the consciousness have reached their targeted parameters. |

Kon, the young girl does not jump to any conclusion, she is frustrated and i can see why.The little we are doing is enough but we cannot go to the gambia and fight with the whole community. The community got what they want. Is as simple as that. When they are fed up at any time, they will wake and do something about it.Most of the big democracies we are witnessing today rose up to get what they have.So we cannot be exceptions.something has to be done. |

Lets pray that we do not reach the point of fighting. This should be the last contemplating. It is an abomination for muslims to take up arms against each other.
Those of you who support NADD like myself should adapt the principle of the party .We all have a massive role to play, for instance through campaigning for NADD. Let us make it a point of duty to sensitise our families when we call home. This is an effective strategh. Fighting will not work but will only lead to destruction.

WA NEHMAL MAWLA. Taalibeh we are not advocating for fighting. We instaed want civil disobedience. gambians need to line up the street and voice their disatisfaction. may be that will be a wake up for yaya. We have not seen the likes yet. infact by next week saturday there will be a massive pro jammeh demonstartion.
This is why i believe gambians deserve Yaya. |

Wa Nehmal Mawlaa. Laa Hawla wa laa huwwata ilaa bi laahi.
I just want to inform you that the NADD Militant Forum is soliciting assistance from all Gambians and friends of the Gambia.
They need mobil phones, papers for printing information material, public adress system, bycicles (new or second hand), T-Shirts and other printable material, assistance for transport etc.
The Militant Forum is very dynamic and do not depend on the NADD executive to conduct it's business. It is doing most of the work on he ground at this particular moment. It is made up of volonteers who are either supporters or militants of NADD.
There are many new activists who have never benn members of any political organisation before.
All assistants goes through NADD for transparency and accoutability. If you want to contact them, you can do it via NADD's office or email adress naddgambia@hotmail.com.
Those in the US can contribute through the established NADD support organisations like the Save the Gambia Democracy Project.
The challenge is ours. The struggle continues. |

I share with the sentiments that are expressed by all Gambians who are aggrieved with the deteriorating political climate in our country. It is sad; it is disheartening and to a growing number of people hopeless.
However, if Gambians at home cannot register their disatisfaction and disguiet openly by demonstration or civil disobedience, they can do so secretly by using the ballot box to end this nightmare. If they exercised their power through the ballot box to change the situation; I firmly believe that decision will be defended at all cost, and the apathetic political disposition of the Gambian masses from thence will be a thing of the past.
