This new GPU Secretary General is doing a fine job so far. I like her very much. Somebody at the Daily Observer should be ashamed of himself for throw in all kind of obstacles along her way. A good beginning indeed. Kudos too to the Information Secretary of State for attempting to foster dialogue between the two institutions.

I don't think gambia needs more journalists, it needs to look after they ones they have pay/ access to information etc. I would like to see more newspapers/tv/radio coverage right up country. the newspapers they have and the TV/radio they have need sto travel. Open up the airways, some rural places the mobile phones do not work.
NOT MORE JOURNALISTs, just look after the ones you have.

Shaka i totally agree with what you have to say and i think the observer management need to be very cautious as to how they deal with the GPU. Somone has to remain professional at all cost not the rhetoric they have been posting about the GPU lately i was kinda dissapointed too...........................................................Peace
