It emerged from this specially featured piece that the author is inviting Gambians to recognise the seat of leadership and to protect it from individual permanent possession. An understanding of what the author seeks to convey comes out very clear that occupants of public position have to respect their bounds. Does anyone think that we have to leave occupants of public positions like national leader or heads of other public establishments to do as they wish? Are public position holders accountable (not limited to financial accountability.)? Public position occupants have to account for their conducts. |
