NIA Operative Detained At Mile II?
By Modou Jonga

An operative of the National Intelligence Agency, Mr. Kebba Secka, is said to be
held incommunicado at the State Central Prison, according to reports. Sources indicate that Mr. Secka was arrested by plain clothes officers in June 19, 2007 and he has since then been detained at the Maximum Security Wing at Mile II Central Prison.
He is said to have been the head of the NIA unit at Mandina-Ba, in the Western Region .
Mr. Secka is reported to be the Officer Commanding in the NIA unit stationed at the Tourism Development Area, at the time of his arrest.
Family sources expressed dismay and concern over the long detention of their loved one. They expressed their concern over his health condition, noting that they don’t know the reasons for his arrest and subsequent detention. The family sources noted that Mr. Secka is yet to be arraigned in any court of law and that he is the only NIA agent incarcerated at Mile II and not charged.
