Sometimes i wonder why our gallant brothers in the cyber world do not create links on their sites for easier and time-saving access for us consumers to other online newspapers.

I was checking this morning, but i think Echo provides a link to 'foroyaa's' and Senegambia to Reuters, CNN, etc. But i believe the rest do not.

Unless there is a legal hurdle to overcome (which may cost money), i think all Online Newspaper Editors should consider creating links. I believe this will also enhance the brotherliness amongst them as well. My humble opinion.

Bro Buba,

I think Links are fun. That's a good idea.

thanks for sharing your observation.

also, if they can get couple of dollars by advertising, i think that will help them. One must also point out that there are many sites to link then.

Once all sites or at least the major ones are linked, then the readers or visitors just click and have it all. That would be neat.

It also might have its demerits, i would think.

What do others think??

Yes for the readers great, but what about the publishers of these online newspapers? they are in the buissness to get readers OR brainwash people into your POLITICAL ways of thinking,if you were a politician would you provide a link to the opposition? It appears that SOME online newspapers report the news in a very slanted way just to support their POLITICAL angle,so news is sometimes not about what actually happened. But thats' the way of the world and has ever been so.

Toubab,

You are right. It means we will link the statehouse website, Dida Halake's observer, et cetera. In it, we will see the HIV aids cure, et cetera...

Toubab, i think generally readers visit most online newspapers anyway (Gambians specifically here). I think it is easier to be on one site and get all than one for one only. But i did not think about the funny side though.
