If I heard it right, it the honorable Halifa who cautioned us to desist from mystifying Dr Jammeh. Infact the continued mystification of Jammeh by some supposely sound and intelligent Gambians in the diaspora does not only question their rationalisation but is sickening and stomach churning. None more so than Pa Nderry Mbai and his Freedom "newspaper".
Since the recent announcement of an attempted coup to overthrow the government of Dr Jammeh and the APRC government, not a single day goes by without these omniscient souls serving us with yet another ridiculous conspiracy theory about the said attempted coup. In the super-intelligent circle of their thinking we are led to believe that Jammeh has supposely just orchestrated the most organised and best executed plot of the century. Judging by the people implicated in the coup plot one cannot help but ask, what the hell is Jammeh plotting against these people?. Can somebody help me here?. These people include the Army Chief Of Defense Staff that Jammeh trusted well enough to appoint to such position just a couple of months ago, the head of the nation's intelligence body (a bossom buddy with whom he was travelling with on the day the attempted coup and with whom he had commited so many heinous crimes within country)and soldiers who were ready to kill or have killed, maimed and tortured for him without even blinking an eyelid.
This conspiracy theory was also to include the American embassy, who had admitted that there was indeed a coup and that one of the leading coup plotters(Tamsir Jasseh) indeed confessed to them about his involvement in this coup while seeking refuge in that very embassy. Mr Mbai and the bunch of claivoyants at the Gambiapost and Gambia-l want us to believe Jammeh was colluding with the American embassy in this conspiracy. Again, WHY?.
This conspiracy theory would also take us tens of miles from the Gambian capital to Bogal in senegal wherein resides the the grande marabout, Cherno Bogal, another close associate of Jammeh with whom he had plotted many evil mysteries and whom Jammeh had showered with millions for numerous evil advices. Cherno Bogal is now a wanted man on Gambian soil for conspiring to to overthrow the same man who made him a millionaire overnight(and God knows how much intelligence about Jammeh and his government he had betrayed to the Senegalese authorities). The conspiracy theorist again wants us to believe that Cherno Bogal was being framed by Jammeh. Yet again i ask, WHY? Can someone help me here?.
We were also led to believe by these conspiracy theorist that Jammeh's supernatural powers of soccery had led to a powerful hallucinatery confession on national TV by some of the putschist. These coupist were supposively speaking in tongues. Some conspiracy theorist had gone as far saying that they have heard differnt voices speaking from within the confessors's mouth. Especially Tamsir Jasseh who suddenly lost his fluency of the English Language. Given the anxious circumstances these were under and given the fact they have just put the hanging noose round their own necks by deciding to confess on live TV, i am surprise they can even remember a single word of the english language much more a whole narative.[center]
In this day and age, how some supposively intelligent Gambians reason within themselves is simply beyond me. For God's sake denounce this attempted coup for what it is man, A BLOODY ATTEMPTED COUP!!! Do you self-style illusionists and claivoyants know how much sympathy votes the dictator is winning because of the actions of a few greedy and selfish individuals as well as your continued mystification of His Imperial Self. Do you want us to believe in your twisted visions that Jammeh is a millitary and political genius who had just hatched up the political plot of the century dragging the American Embassy along with the plot while committing some of his closest allies to take the fall by confessing to some dreamed up crimes on national TV and then turn around and murder them in cold blood. Please stop this dreaming while you are blinded by the hatred of the dictator and let those who can reason do so. Give the devil his due man. Dr Jammeh is the dumbest leader in this world!!

I read this 'freedom'-newspaper a few times, but the blown up trivialities there gave me the impression I could as well read 'The Sun' or, in Germany, 'BILD'.
Mystification is always dangerous; everybody only cooks with water. |

| Shaka those theories and assumptions were perhaps prematurely stated before facts came to light. Every Gambian is a paranoid under Jammeh's rule as lots of unexpected mysteries are happening. We all know about the facts and are following developments with keen interests. Dom't further aggravate the situation with arguments rather do allow matters to rest gradually os soon as possible. Peace, stability and progress! Thanks for awakening us on the negativeness of those wrong judgements and pre-mature comments at the early stages of the crises. |
