I booked a flight to Barcelona on 19 March but got let down with accommodation - Does anyone have a spare room or know anyone who does-I am able to pay up to £150 for the week or give someone a weeks accommodation in my flat in the GAMBIA OR THE UK
I would never waste my money going to Spain. They are racists pricks. Even the hotel I stayed at for 5 days paying 175 euros per day were very unaccomodating and rude. It's in Madrid and called Maria Galgos. Save your money and go elsewhere. Spain ain't as cracked up to be as some make it. I still consider it a 3rd world country when compared to the G8 nations.

Hi Aku Here i am in Barcelona - finally found a cheap hotel in Callella at 263 pounds for a week. I must say though that I am disappointed and not impressed at all with Barcelona. Your words have indeed some truth to them - Its not what we are lead to believe. It is not helping that it is raining and cold . I came for sunshine. Barcelona is just like London, aolthoug the Gaudi Buildings are incredible. I have come to see a Gambian friend of mine who has recently come here to live. I wish I waas back in the UK eating my easter eggs.
Are you talking about thesame calella about 45-50 km from barcelona? (Nosotros soy blanco, tu soy nada pero negro/negrita!=we are white, and you are nothing but black.)this are typically words of the people in calella.
they even calls Metro twon a (ciudad la zaino)= dark town or simply dark brown because there were too many black people. they don't employ blacks in hotel or restaurant because they think the tourist will run away, and if you tried to go in club there with your white girl friend then you dont have to be a black.(No entrada) They're one of racist town in Europe, and most of the town has copy it too from them. I wish you know it before you went there.
Anyway. this was in the 80s and 90s maybe things has change in the meanwhile?.
