News has reached me today that Sidou Mass's father has died. He was the blind fisherman I have sometimes mentioned in postings. Each time I visited Kolior I visited him in his home and he told be his wonderful tales. A lovely man, and I will miss him.
My thoughts are with Kolior and the Mass family today. I wish I could be there with them,but it is not possible.
If anyone here is in Gambia and knows the family please greet them from me. I have text Sidou. I will email Bora.
Last time I was with him we were laughing about grandchild. I aaked him how many he had and he said he had lost count!!!! He has raised a wonderful family. A great legacy to leave behind, working hard for kolior.
Bev, sorry for your loss, i will light a candle for him. as it has been mentioned, I am sure he is withthe righteous ones. as you say he has left a great legacy in his family.
