I am currently having a book which i will call a CROWN JEWEL. This book deals with only Gambia's political history dating back from 1816 to 1994. Somebody should run for cover, for this book unlike many, is non-fictional.

The book has all the figures of all elections since 1960 (including by-elections). In addition, it has names of all candidates, the parties they represented, area/ward being contested, tribal belonging of each of them, votes obtained by each candidate, etc etc.

I don't want to scare anybody, but these are good times! Distortion of history will never happen in Gambia, never!

I will hold my breath until further notice... but i'm relishing this to be honest.

Is it the book called Historical Dictionary of the Gambia by Gailey Harry. If thats the one. you have a very good book.

Buba, i read in history a west african word called "SANKOFA" a picture of bird with its neck twisted looking backward. It signifies go back to learn your history. For a very long time our history was distorted but we will recliam it again. Read the Book by Adu Bioahen

You dont have to be old to know history. Just research.
